I didnt find the episode really funny. Yea they bash Family Guy for sticking interchangeable jokes in the same story every week, but the fact of the matter is, FG is funnier. I don't think FG fans needed Matt and Trey to enlighten us to the FG formula; I just felt like they took the opportunity to make some jokes at the expense of the Muslims cartoons and FG, and the results were wishy washy. I guess I always felt that way about SP; they set an agenda with their stories but then it turns into "This is what is stupid" without funny results. It just seems to be a platform for satirical opinions, more than a comedy show, to me. But maybe that's the poiint. Guess I'll go back to being a idiot, watching Quagmire make penis jokes....that wacky Quagmire! *slaps knee*
I wouldn't say Family guy is funnier, it's just different type of humor that appeals to you more.
It's pretty cool they even animated the Family Guy cast, I wonder if that's legal? In either case I think South Park humor is still pretty fresh after 10 years, and it even got a Peabody. I'm pretty psyched about the next episode, I wonder what would happen if they really did show the Prophet Mohammed?
The show is so unpredictable you can never tell with these guys. -
Ok something's wrong with my copy or is KH2 like this. I'm missing the music during "cinematics", that's when the characters actually talk with voices.....or is the absense of music during these cut scenes with strange silence normal? Like i just passed the Mulan stage and the ending cinematic was.....quiet. Too quiet. >_>
there should be at least music i think. I can't think of any moments with awkward silence.

What are the odds of Yamato releasing the 1/48 Stealth Type fast packs with the strike cannon?

There have been promo shots of it with both. The original Super sets did not come with one, but that may be because they were TV style
There are a couple of customizers on the boards. Go out to the main site and look in the custom section for references
The Hikaru VF1-J with TV packs bundled did not come with a strike cannon. But all DYRL valks bundled with regular fast pack sets came with one, as did the fast pack sets that were sold separately, so I would think the stealth would get one especially since they had pics in the promo.
There has never been an offical DYRL Valk that came with Fast Packs from Yamato.
The only ones that ever came with Fast Packs are
VF-1J MAX
VF-1J MIRIA
VF-1J HIKARU
All of these were TV style valks
Now that I think about it, I think your right!

I saw this movie when it was in the theatres. It was surprisingly good. Actually I also remember people around me also saying it was a lot better than they thought it would be. The plot, action scenes, and direction were all good IMO. Better than Pearl Harbor at least!

but the point Seven is making is valid, the 350Z is for people who want a true bred RWD sports coupe. I don't know what track you're running but the 350Z will totally burn an RX-8 around a track, the RX-8 doesn't have sufficient torque to pull out of the Apex's (I'll admit that it's suspension is more than sufficient thus is typical of Mazda: slow motors, great suspensions; i loved how you could red line it all day but even at redline the torque is completely vacant). I'll also admit its easier to drive (handles like a dream actually), but since it doesn't use a conventional motor, you run the risk of someone seriously screwing up your car even with simple maintenance. The STI/EVO are rally inspired turbo sedan AWD cars that are really in a completely different class.
Here are some of the track times from the Top Gear website. RX-8 did pretty well.
Torque and hp are great on a straightline race, but around the track things are even.

I was thinking that the stealth should have another symbol on its vertical tail fins besides a skull. Why can't it be a blue roses squadron or something totally unique? We have enough planes from skull squadron (hikaru 1-a Hikaru 1-s, roy, and max).

Well, I gotta say, I have no clue where they are going with this. Everything I had read had me thinking Cylon civil war, a la Macross. Well, looks like the are all on the same page to me. Now we have to wait 7 months to find out where this is all going.
Thank God The Sopranos is coming back this weekend.
I can see why now they seemed to rush through storylines this season. Everything changes in the last half hour. Hope you guys on the westcoast enjoy it, I won't spoil anything.

It's nice that Kim is back, but it seems her boyfriend is also her therapist! I don't think Jack's going to be too happy with that.
I also thought Jack was going to beat the crap out of him until Kim told him to leave the room. I wish he would've, that guy was really annoying. I'm sure they are going to exchange some words next episode, and hopefully jack convinces Kim to leave that guy.

Interesting episode the other day. It seems that the "others" are not so primitive as we were led to believe. It looks like they have costumes and make up kits! I still wonder what the heck is going on. Maybe everone's part of some weird experiment and the scientists brought the plane down to get more guinea pigs? And the black cloud? Oww, my head hurts...

I don't think there is any way they can use Macross mecha, they don't own the designs right? I know they own animation rights, but live action is totally different.

Keeps looking better, but I'll have to echo the concern about the swing-bar. With the 1/48 when I have it all splayed out in mid-transformation, it always seems so fragile with both heavy halves of the toy being held together by that one thin bar. If it's any thinner on the VF-0 that effect will be even more dramatic. I trust Yamato enough to not assume they'd take a step backwards with the swing-bar, but I'm stil wary.

Yeah some people don't like Brosnan. One common complaint that I hear is that no hair is out of place and he's a pretty boy. I think those fans are in the closet. They are attracted to him and just say the don't like him as Bond cause he's to purdy.
If Brosnan Bond was bad its cause of the scripts, direction and production. He was a charming, classy Bond in cheesy block busters.

When the nuke hits, it looks like Baltar leans down onto his knees and Six shields him with her body. Since Six was a humanoid Cylon and they appear pretty fragile, its hard to buy that Baltar doesn't get blinded, burned or cut up far far worse from the blast.
I think it would be tough to pull off storywise how Baltar is a regular Cylon. Maybe if he was something unique, but not completely human, that would make more sense. I.E. why they can't control him fully and why it appears he knows much more than good old fashioned luck can explain. But honestly, without Baltar as a human, we never see the flip side to the 'Do we deserve to live' theme.
The real compelling evidence of "Who Is A Cylon" kind of leans towards Roslin actually. She can't explain why she hasn't had a breast exam in five years. She clearly had a physical relationship with Adar, using Six/Boomers tactic of sleeping with someone to get the Cylon agenda moving. She was sent to the represent the government during the miniseries, could have been anyone really. She makes the decision to form the fleet and convinces Adama to run, not fight. She gets a new assistant and has no existing staff with a background or history with her. She has visions and prophecies that simply can't be explained logically but fullfill the Cylons idea of 'What happened before will happen again' She was also never in the TOS original canon thus shes essential only because shes played by a veteran actress who is second billed and its more plausible to make her a villian than say Apollo or Starbuck.
Good points. It really would make no sense if he was a cylon. I wish they would explain why six and baltar have imaginary counterparts. It just can't be a coincidence.
