  1. I must say that I'm not enjoying this season of Jojo as much as previous ones. I'm kinda missing the exotic, international settings and characters and the over the top humour the previous ones had. Diamond is Unbreakable is a lot closer to a conventional shounen IMO.

I agree. Its missing a main villain and the manliness of the previous series. Maybe itll pick up when Joseph shows up.
  2. I think Keith was "showboating" because he had to pull out from his bag of tricks to beat Messer. He had to sacrifice his last Li'l Draken to attack Messer from an unexpected/unconventional position (head on) to get a good shot.

I guess i think he is showboating because he couldve used his main weapon but unnecessarily opted to use a small head laser to fire a precise shot square in the cockpit. Maybe the subtext is'i own you' and 'i am in full control.'(sorry typing on phone)
  3. Unlike popular opinion, I don't think Messer and Keith were evenly matched. Messer always seemed pretty serious and intense in his dogfights vs Keith, while Keith looked like he was having fun facing someone who was skilled enough not to bore him. The way Keith killed Messer proves how much more skilled he was, opting to use a pinpoint attack while on a head on collision course to snipe Messer. If his aim was off by just a foot, he would have missed. And the time frame at which he had to make that shot was only a few seconds at most.

If that's not showboating, I don't know what else it could be. And people usually only showboat when they believe they have a massive advantage over their opponent and can toy with them.

Messer slowed down quite a bit once his Var infection got going. He definitely was not at his best for the past two dog fights. But you are right in thinking keith was i full control of the last fight, i even think the killing blow was him just showing off.

  4. Picked up the reissue from a brick and mortar store. The left ankle is loose. The right is tight...

(Whoah, sounded "like lefty loosey, eighty tighty)

Well i guess thats an upgrade from the previous release, hopefully it holds up over time.

  5. Hey David. My 0S looks fine now. I just did the second one on your list which is just extending the hip joint a little bit. Thanks for that. ;)

It's just weird to pull that since I never pulled those hip extender joints to begin with. But now it look all flushed now in fighter mode. :)

    Glad everything worked out.
  6. Thanks! But like I said everything is straight somehow, backpack included, so I'm not sure what really causing one leg to pop off during swooshing time. The only thing I could think of is maybe one leg is not built straight or somehow not aligned properly by the knee joint assembly. I'm just assuming here. ^_^

Just make sure the way it folds give you the best angle, and the way the backpack exhaust cover is not pushing against the arms too much. I had a similar issue where the leg would pop out and resolved it by making sure the backpack was in the best position and did not resist getting pegged to the leg. Fingers not folded properly could also make the fit difficult, but you probably got it covered.

  7. Hey Seti. No worries sir! Thanks for your insight as well. Really appreciate it. Yeah, I also checked everything from the swing bar to the air intakes tabs to the shoulders to the legs. And everything is pegged in. But I will still check everything again tonight if ever. ;)

By the way, I also transformed my other one that has the bad ankle joint to Fighter mode and I still get the same thing. But this one it's the other leg that keeps popping out.

I think the way the backpack folds straight also matters in how well the legs lock in, good luck!

  8. Here's your damn landing gears. :p

Its weird the nose droops so much, it looks straight in the show.

Edit: image didnt copy from this post...can someone repost that pic?

  9. At those prices I'm officially done collecting the 1/60 line. I already have that VF-1S with those Fast packs. In addition to the price there is also shipping. The 1/60 are at premium prices only. Which makes releasing another Me-type so confusing. Most collectors willing to pay more for a toy have likely already purchased that toy during one of its previous re-releases. If you want to sell toys at premium prices offer the obscure variants and obscure mecha.

So true, most everybody bought an Arcadia Roy vf-1 two years ago. I think they should release the fast packs separately and maybe a different valk, and then bundle fast packs on all future Vf-1 releases.
