  1. Another earlier version from a guy named Luke (IAD): http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.ph...0&postcount=501 Videos of my glider: http://www.rcgroups.com/gallery/showphoto....&cat=500&page=1 http://www.rcgroups.com/gallery/showphoto....&cat=500&page=1
  2. yes they did get the SV to fly.... now it's a matter of adding the "looks"
  3. Hey Chrono... I'm the one that made the model available for the guys at RCGroups... you gave it to me a long time ago because I told I was going to see if I could get anyone to make a flying version... I've successfully gotten a freeflight hand-tossed glider to fly very well... but the guys there at the forum are way more skilled than I am at powered, controlled flight... there are several software programs they are using (Rhino, 3DS, etc) in conjunction with CNC cutters and plain ole' ingenuity... maybe you COULD help out...
  4. Has anyone seen this software? http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/ it allows you to take 3DS models and import them to make papercraft models... if anyone has a 3DS model of a YF-19 or VF-11 they could email me I would appreciate it... in the meantime..there are a couple robots on the main page to download edit** I just read that it accepts DXF files as well....!!
  5. Has anyone seen this software? http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/ it allows you to take 3DS models and import them to make papercraft models... if anyone has a 3DS model of a YF-19 or VF-11 they could email me I would appreciate it... edit*** Just found out that it works with DXF, LWO, OBJ, and MQO files as well
  6. Most people use light card stock... but photo paper works sometimes too... if you want a little gloss to the model edit: Dude.. I just looked at the fixed links.... and that's the exact one I was looking for.....thanks!!!! There ARE instructions on the colored Valk... on the Fighter...they are on the last page...and on the Gerwalk...there are assembly drawings on each page..... BTW on the Gerwalk....file #1 and #3 are identical....(mistake)...LOL basically there are no legs...LOL
  7. That's the plain white one I have....thanks for the other links Edit:... those links to the "colored Valk" and "fastpack" are wrong.... they are the same white valkyrie... They are all this link http://members.cox.net/richter4/macross/images.zip with different names
  8. Wow... nice!... i love the natural lighting effect
  9. I'm trying to find a paper model of a Valkyrie. I've seen links point to them but none of the links work... I have the plain white homemade one that's been posted... but the plans are pretty choppy-looking.... the one I'm loking for is the full color one from here --->http://www.strikebbs.host.sk/papermodel.html or ANY models from that site
  10. Yea ...Chrono did an awesome job.... all I need now is the VF-4.... anyone...anyone... Bueller?
  11. Thank so much... if we get anything flying I'll be sure to post it
  12. DXF and DWG files...if you could do that... it would be great!! and if you know someone with the VF-4...that would be even better!! as that would be a more flyable plane
  13. it's going to be for an RC version....at least a 30" wingspan... so pretty high res... if you send it as a JPG that will fill an 11x17 sheet...that will be fine.... and line drawings will work... it's going into TurboCAD for the plans and tweaking to make flyable, so whatever you've got would be great... BTW great-looking 19!! and thanks. BTW... if you know of anyone who has the VF-4...that would be great too... this is the type of thing I'm looking for... but in higher res...
  14. I'm new here... and a lot of these threads are really long... but can anyone sirect me to where I can find side, front, top and maybe bottom views/line drawings/schematics for a VF-19 or VF-9? I'm in from another forum and I'm trying to build a real flying RC version out of Depron sheet foam....so i need these views to draw up plans.... Thanks Jimmy Something like this... but I need a front view as well
