That's an incredible job Mike, I got mine about a week ago and the kit is truly a work of art. The parts are still lying on the floor in my basement cause I had an addition to the family on Thursday morning (healthy boy, 7lbs15, 20"), and I've been pretty busy since
Sorry to go OT with the Probe Droid kit, but your leg parts are realy awesome, I wish you would have done the head and torso too (there's some problems with mine, warping, broken torso rings, etc. the other Steve is making it all better, hopefully). Do you know if the Hyperdyne kit is selling already? I haven't heard anything yet.

2 for me!
-
LOL, yeah, first thing I thought of when I saw the sketch was "hood ornament!".
Just poking fun, it's a great sketch EXO, I can't wait to see you give it 3D life.
-
Yeah, I won't admit to having the same idea in mind , but I know Andy thought about it too!
Auction is over anyhoo, maybe he'll relist it.
-
Hey Andy. Actually, it's 3 figures (chick mode, halfway into transformation, and YF-19 mode..errr, plane mode), and a super special T-shirt.
If you, me, and Kanata put our cash together, we can each have one of the figs and rotate every 4 months! As for the t-shirt, just make sure it's clean before sending it to the next in line
-
No he won't.
What people are gonna bytch at is the France coach sending Trezeguet to shot against Buffon, his goalie teammate on Juventus, hello? Tre had to switch to a less familiar shot to beat a goalie who knows him too well, and missed.
-
@ Kanata67: Hey buddy, fellow member Mowe found us a link to a MIB set of SMPko2 figs on Yahoo!Japan, got $1400?
-
Which kit is this?
-
"No really! I heard it from my third neighbour's fourth cousin's dead grandfather's poodle walker's stepson's emo-boyfriend's band camp counsilor's gynacologist... sound doesn't travel through space!"
Although our ears are not sensitive enough to hear it, sound does travel in space.

Come on Chad, we're waiting here!

Hey Sean, I was talking about any of the 41 people below him on the list when I said "Someone below Robert S", and that includes me!
-
OR....
Someone below Robert S on the list is pretending to be him to say he want's to be last on the list, so his real spot gets bumped a spot.
hmmmm....
Hey Mike, I'm actually Jarowar, Vice lent me his username to post cause mine doesn't work anymore. Just letting you know that I still want 2 Monsters, but since I can't prove I'm Jarowar, you can bump me to the end of the list, ok? thanks!
-
Bumped to the end??? That more or less proves you're NOT Robert S
Stand up and be a man, fight for your spot! Cause if I was 5th on the list (I'm only 11th ) and the same thing happened to me, I would be kicking and screaming to prove I was the one and same Viceland, not bending over and taking it in the @ss, and settling for last place on the list, which someone pretending to be me would do, so to not stir up any crap.
But then again, why pretend to be someone else, only to settle for last place when you could just as well ask to be on the list (therefore in last place) with a legit user name...
Ok, I guess you're the REAL Robert S
-
Bah, I don't care either way. Planes are meant to fly, my birds are all built in flight mode, don't need gears.

Me three! for two...

Henry Rollins and co. at a Rollins Band/Skunk Anansie concert, invited us to the after concert party Didn't get to talk to him much there though, guess he didn't like me telling him "hey, you look so much ripped and huge in your pictures than in real life". He's actually a lot smaller than me, I dwarfed him, I can be intimidating, but I didn't do it on purpose.
Jason Ward, NHL player now with the NY Rangers. I used to work as a telecom tech for Bell Canada and I installed a landline and phone jacks in his condo when he used to play for the Montreal Canadiens. Really cool guy, looks a lot bigger on TV than in real life too. His girlfriend was SMOKING hot.
Used to be a live sound tech for a club called Bourbon Street (mostly blues & rock) near Montreal about 10 years ago, got to hang out with lots of bands there, like April Wine, Blue Rodeo, Jeff Healy, Barenaked Ladies, etc.
There's more, but I can't think of them right now.
-
Hey Ken, good start.
What's up with your Target Drone? and the VF-11? PM me...
-
Yeah I know, I figure that's what I'll hafto pay.
Last but not least, the Mac + poster. Not sure if they ever released that pic you have as a poster but I do know they had the DVD promo poster using that same image with Isamu using his hands as the YF-19! If you are interested I will see if I still have that poster in my collection!Andy
Sure, let's see it!

Ok, to recap, the old stuff I was looking for from previous posts...
Grendizer "grail" poster: Found
General Products Gunbuster kits: Gave up, no longer searching
Imai TB-2: Lost interest, no longer searching
WoH book: Found
...stuff I'm still looking for...
General Products 1/72 WoH kits (Lonkeer & Schira-DOW): Still searching. Did GP make the bomber too?
Captain Harlock poster in Paris Match magazine picture (post #6): Still searching.
...and now some new stuff...
1st: Marmit 45cm diecast Grendizer. To be released in November '06. Mail order limited offer in Japan and Hong Kong only. Production run of 300. How the hell am I gonna get one? I don't know yet... and paying twice as much for it on eBay is not an option. Yeah, I realize it's expensive, but it's limited, and 45cm... DIECAST! Anyways, when I look at some of the guys here that spend 4 or 5 figures on 1/48's alone, I don't feel foolish spending this much on a collectible at all Let me know if you can help.
2nd: I'm thinking of starting a small SOC collection. I definitely want the UFO Robo Grendizer and variants (GX-04, GX-04B, GX-04S, GX-04X), but may want the other Go Nagai Super Robots, and variants, in this series as well, such as;
GX-01 Mazinger Z
GX-01B Mazinger Z Black
GX-01R Mazinger Z Re-design
GX-01RB Mazinger Z Re-design Black Chrome Version
GX-01RG Mazinger Z Re-design Gold
GX-02 Great Mazinger
GX-02B Great Mazinger Black
GX-02R Great Mazinger Re-design
GX-06 Getter Robo
GX-06M Getter Robo Training
GX-07 Mazinger Z OVA Version
GX-10 Bossborot
GX-10B Bossborot Black
GX-18 Getter Dragon
GX-19 Getter Liger
GX-20 Getter Poseidon
Will most likely get most of these on eBay, but let me know if you own any you want to unload at a fair price.
3rd: Looking for Hot Toys Astro Boy figures, regular, Xmas, and Zing (chrome) versions, got leads?
4th: Looking for Macross Plus poster, the same image that's on the movie guide, but I don't know if one was ever made, do you?
More to come...

Well, I'm resurrecting this little thread for some updates even though it's more than a year old.
1st post update: Grendizer poster FOUND!
Honneamise book correction:
Actually, my scanner is too small to scan this book without damaging it, so no scans for now.Bump...Here's something else I just found out I REALLY want!!!... Anybody ever seen, or have, this book? or any other WoH Artbook/Roman Album?
EDIT: I have FOUND this book, I'll post some scans later
[see pic in post #13]
SNIP
@ Valkyrie: I was going thru some of my stuff tonight and decided to flip thru a few books. I couldn't find the WoH book I apparently "found" (see pic in post #13) and I was getting pissed. So I started flipping thru my WoH B-Club Special when I realized something, the Royal Space Force Mechanical Report isn't a stand alone book, it's IN the B-Club Special!, at the back, or the front, Japanese books are so confusing. I didn't think of your post at the time and never got around to letting everyone know, well now you do. So other than the B-Club Special, and the This is Animation (which I also own), I don't know of any other WoH books either.Sweet mother of crap!!! I've never seen that book before! And I've been watching Yahoo Japan Auctions for Honneamise stuff for the past year!I must have it!!
BTW, I have 1/72 kits of the Lonkeer and Schira-Dow that General Products made back in The Day. They're the top and bottom planes on that book's cover.
There's two other Honneamise art books out there that I know of. A B-Club Special, and a This Is Animation, if I recall correctly. So far, I have neither of them
-
oops
-
I say make both, but start with the Phalanx, then take your sweet ol time making the YF-19.
What I say goes.

Ok, i am 10 Times happier with the new mold for the body, the panel lines are better, the seam lines are better, it has put a huge smile on my face , a $300.00 worth of mold material smile but a smile none the less....pic of casting from the new mold along with a sneak at what maybe the next kit...hope you can figure it out!
That's a VF/YF-19 wing right there.
Do I win? Do I win a 1/32 YF-19!!!
edit: oops, didn't see Anasazi guessed first, damb you decal boy!
RT Junky didn't specify which "bird", so he doesn't win...
