Im looking for any Legioss, Gakken, Mospeada, or any new MPC alphas. I dont care if they are mint, in box or not. Im more interested in any new MPC alpha stuff right now. What ever color, what ever in box or not. STickers applied and what not. Im mostly looking for a good deal though. So if you got some stuff you want to unload, hit me up. Dont be giving me no ebay prices though. Im just looking for fair prices. I can pay cash and pick up if you are in the So. Cal. area. OR, I can pay with paypal. Im not trading at the moment, Im trying to build my collection. Im not so concerned about minty mint boxes, but I would prefer the toys to be decent. I plan on doing a movie in the near future and use these as props. So thats why mint in box doesnt matter. IF you have any questions of me, please ask.

It's a pony car, not a sports car. It's purpose is to go in a straight line, so weight isn't as important.

As for LordKungfu comparing the WRX and the Mustang... you're completely missing the point. They're very different cars designed for very different purposes.

Not to be argumentative, but that statement could not be farther from the truth. In fact, in drag racing, the weight of the car is the single most important factor besides engine power and tire grip. Ask anybody thats been involved in racing for advice and building a race car and they will tell you to strip your car and make it as light as possible. Of course you could overcome a weight issue with more horsepower, but you would still want to make your car as light as you can.

And true, and Stang and WRX are different cars. I prefer the WRX just because I think in looks better and I do prefer rally racing and cars with suspension and overall handling than just a lot of horsepower. I just dont find the mustang to be very appealing in its design, except for the saleen wich look a lot better. The mustang looks good the first time, but gets old very fast. Not to mention driving it is a bore. You can get in my old 84 rabbit, smoke the tires all day long, and it will cost you less to put new tires on the car than to fill the tank on the mustang. ALso, you can give your passengers pemanent G-face in the rabbit. Of course this argument can go on forever, but the fact is that any car can be better than the other with enough money.

That tetsuzin 28 robot can go up to $3k easy a friend of mine is bidding on it also , and the GOBOTS go only for $30 each

that price would have been for the big tetsujin a few years back. That one on auction is a smaller version and not as valuable as years past.

i don't know how much half that stuff is worth but i certainly have no interest with the majority of it. good luck doods.

yup, your right. Those were the good ol days. I remeber when I couldn't find anything takatoku for under $1500. At least the bigger sets. Legioss were going for $900 plus and cyclones were $300 or so. 6 or 7 hundred for a mint ostrich is a steal to me. Even transformers were way up there in price back then. But then came the reissues.

Mayby theyre for a private screening on a leather couch in gorge lucas's basement with him to personaly coment on the movie while you tell him to pass the nachos.

meh! The playboy mansion is way overrated. Then again, im not really a star struck kind of person. Living in hollywood, I see stars all the time, but maybe if I were from kentucky or something, it would be a big deal. meh And I know the playboy mansion pretty well, Ive been there a few times, not as guest, I used to work with a caterer and we did the playboy mansion all the time. I guess its just not as fun when you are there to work.

What if someone else sees the auction, and decides to bid on the item to help her out? That other person could be a friend or family member with no real interest in the item or just a good samaritian.

The end result is them same. The item you were bidding on now has a inflated price that is not justified.

Your totally right. Somebody else may fall for the emtional stuff and inflate the final outcome of the auction. But just use your better judgement. Find a price point your willing to pay, and if it goes higher because of some other bidder decides they are willing to pay more for whatever reason, may it be to help out, or they simply want the item more than you, just go by what you want to pay and if it goes to high, forget it and move on to another better deal.

Well its perfectly o.k. to do what she is doing in that auction. She could be totally lying, but you just have to use your better judgement as a buyer. I really dont care why the hell she is selling her item, but Im only going to bid what I think the item is worth, Im not going to bid higher to help that person out. Not that I dont like helping people out, it just you never know if they are telling the truth. Playing the sympathy card on me doesnt work. If I can get a good deal on that item, I dont care what she or he does with the money or if it goes to the charity they are claiming. They can get the money and burn it in a fire place, or buy a year supply of hot dogs. I just try to get a good deal as a buyer. Just bid on description and seller record and forget all that emotional crap.

THe problem is not the price, the problem is you are from Canada. We simply dont trust you guys.

Actually, your price is a little steep, plus we would have to pay $40 for shipping, wich would me we would be paying over $400 for a the set that would be worth most likely a lot less than that. But somebody might buy it. Personally, I just start things out at $1 and just get what I get. I never really like the whole reserve thing, it totally scares bidders away.

Thanks for you comments guys , yes problably we`re insane people building this alpha , but truly..we enjoyed every second doing this... will be others projects soon so I`ll probably place the items here for see your experienced and great opinions, in fact will be great of you tell us what item you love to see built, I mean thinking in this kind scale..so if you have an interest idea I`m all ears

I always say that school is important and some of you really need it bad because you have just proven that G.E.D's and H.S. diplomas only make you look $tupid and allow idiotic statements on your behalfs.

WTF? I only have a high school diploma, but I have over 2 million sitting in the bank. Just like the apprentice, the high school kids(net worth) make more money than the college kids(magna). Its actually funny, because all my friends that only graduated high school, pretty much all of them make more money than my friends that got associate or master degrees. All my high school only friends make well over 80k a year, because they know unix, ect...... and are involved in the computer industry. Most of my college degree friends, and most with masters btw, are finding work at temp agencies. I used to go to college parties with my friends over at UCLA, USC, and CSUN, and I have been noticing a lot of people in college now are idiots. Im not saying that everyone in college is an idiot, im just saying that I thought the standards to get into these kind of schools was a little higher. Can you believe a lot of students dont even know wthe first president of the U.S. was. WTF? And these are people who grew up here in the U.S. And they dont even know what Macross is. Such a shame. OH and if nobody believes me, you can visit me in my mansion in Arcadia, CA. Or, buy one of my houses from me. I own 12 houses right now, in So. Cal. I was thinking about hosting MW con 5, but my schedule has me so that I can not do that right now, but some day.
