    how about grabbing a bargain at HK Collectibles and pick up a brand new original minus the crappy sound booster (which wouldn't even work in space as sound cannot travel in a vacuum derrr (technically I don't know how that system actually is meant to work... just sayin)) for HK$1,119 (14,700 jpy)

    Which VF-25 is the best looking one?

    I finally received my VF-25S Ozma Custom in the mail today and I gotta say it looks sooo cool!!

    Its head design.. paint scheme.. black gun.. (hehe) it just all works! It has a presence the others kinda lack.. like its the boss! just as in the series I guess..

    So I've changed my mind as to which is my ultimate fav! S, A, RVF, G, YF, F.

    Still I pretty much love em all the same! And the wife just doesn't get it.. out of all my stuff the only thing she actually likes is my FB7 Ranka (not pictured here) cos she likes her outfit.. go figure.

    F Yeah ! Nice idea placing the Detolf's on top of another display box . . .removes the problem of "who's going on the bottom",

    Just realized I'm such an idiot. Forgot to search Chogokin in japanese...

    LOL! I can't say I really have the cash to spend on these things either but hey bills & savings can sometimes be secondary to the things you love!

    I had been meaning to get the Macross Frontier Series of (renewal) Valks for a while now. And having ummed and arred about a few of them I did miss out on many good priced items on Mandarake and now regretting it..

    So then I decided that if I saw them available at relatively affordable prices I would just bite the bullet and jump on em!

    Im not so keen on the YF-29 variants and I'll see how it goes with the YF-25 Prophecy but I am definitely aiming for at least one or two YF-30 Chronos! So for the moment my collection is somewhat complete..

    Which VF-25 is the best looking one?

    VF-25A for sure! As it has best paint job, best overall head unit and better gun color too!

    Then..

    "S" has next best head unit. Paint job is meh but ok..

    "RVF" its more "unique" than others & color is cool!

    "YF" paint job is cool but needs black gun like "A"

    "G" yes its virtually same as "A" but blue is just too blue & the gun is rather silly.. (overkill like on VF-27..)

    "F" for one of the lead characters in MF they could have made his Valks paint job a little more interesting.. Head unit design seems a little out of

    place or over designed.. Be better with "A" head..

    But to be honest I really love them all pretty much equally!! Slowly working to buy all of em!

    Bandai DX YF-30 Chronos

    I wasn't so sure about the VF-30 when I first saw it.. Especially b'cos of the overhead missile pod which kinda looked like an afterthought. But.. slowly and surely its certainly grown on me! I quite like the look of it in fighter mode!

    If I can find somewhere to pre-order or maybe purchase when its released I'll be definitely getting one!

    I'd have to agree with Vi-RS on this one.. Cant really see why they would ever want to go back to the 1/48's anyways.. I never owned any 1/48's myself, my cousin had a few and when put side by side against the v2 1/60's they were simply no match at all in terms of build quality, refinement and proportions..

    The 1/48 line would require a complete re-design as did the v1 1/60 line got and I just couldn't see Arcadia ever wanting to commit the resources / funds required towards such a project..

    And besides could you imagine how much larger our display cabinets would have to be in order to fit a whole new line of Valk's!?!? it'd be crazy shiz!

    I did try but I can only seem to select the 2.5 inch stand and no other? I have sent several emails requesting availability and get absolutely no reply. Its rather frustrating. I'd really prefer a 4 inch stand at the very least but can't seem to order it from the website.

    I am after a flightpose stand if anyone has one they are willing to part company with.. a 4inch stand would be preferable but either of the 3 sizes.. 2.5, 4 & 6 will do also..

    Bandai - why do you hate them?

    buying anything Bandai is like sleeping with your ex..

    You know you want to but its not so easy to achieve.. Then if / when you do it you love it! but then hate yourself for doing it.. And then the cycle starts all over again!

    Always feels like a love / hate relationship kinda situation.. Right at this moment im in the "love" phase with my new Lucifer but then when I'll find something else Bandai I want & then I'll hate em for it..
