  1. welcome ido. for enamels thinner is definately needed. testors airbrush thinner is good and can be found almost anywhere. i didnt quite make out the last part of your question but the best way to polish enamels ,at least gloss ones, is to spray them with some testors glosscoate. its a laquer that wont be easily torn up by car waxes or plastic polishes.

Oh sorry, I mean, how I can polish the brush after I painted with Enamels? I have to use the testor thinner or there are others products (maybe cheaper)?

    thanks :)

  2. The hands how are supposed to works?  1/48 way or just "put-them-in-the-holes"

The hands are just plugged into holes in the wrist. However, even in the anime, the VF-0's hands do not retract into the forearm they are extended at all times even in fighter mode.

In fighter mode, the hands slot into cut-outs in the backpack. Those who have the Hasegawa kit will know what I mean.

    Ahhh, didn't see M-0 yet.

  3. So far, the most useful links I've found are at

http://faqs.ign.com/articles/496/496660p1.html (Walkthrough with introduction describing the controls, etc.)

http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/archive/index.php/t-19581.html (Discussion following a review; one posting has a quick rundown of most of the controls)

The info on controls from the above may have some omissions/inaccuracies--I've only tried the game a little bit so far. One thing I've noticed that I haven't seen mentioned is that if you're used to true flight sims, you might be more comfortable with the "Normal" controls instead of the "Easy" controls that a lot of people recommend. At least, I've found that with Normal I can roll the plane a full 360 degrees using just the stick; in Easy, the stick seems to steer as opposed to bank, like in Battlecry.

OMG, Veritechs in a Macross Game? why the roteck fan just don't play to a robotek game?

Just remember the evasive moves, they make a lot of difference.

  4. How daunting is the game for a non-Japanese speaker? Can you follow the general drift of what's going on, or are the missions sufficiently complex that you need to translate some of the instructions? And, if the latter, is there enough info on the net to clear up any language barriers?

    Thanks alot...

If you saw the tv series and DYRL? there is no problem with the japanese.

  5. The yamato stickers aren't so bad if cut the uneeded film and you peel the superficial film layer with a hobby knife, they will become flat and shiny, but you have to remove leftover glue. I do this with the "no step" stickers and the results are excellent better then takatoy's.

However I suggest to use aftermarket stickers or decals that you can buy at valkyrie exchange or at twins moons anime

  6. That 2 pieces heatshield is new to me, then the normal sliding from the top heatshield fof the VF-1D in the episode 2 is an error? However in dyrl the VE-1 and VT-1 aren't showed in battroid mode(can the Vt-1 change in battroid???) so i don't know what to say...

  7. hehe...

welcome to MW, and be prepared to say goodbye to all your money... ^_^

    Manu

No, that doesn't happen until you start to do crazy things like import the R2 movie edition since it has vastly superior video & audio quality :)

LOL now he' is going to buy that version :D

    Goodbye money!

  8. Can you suggest me a good online store in Europe where I can buy tools and paints for build model kits? There are a pair of hobby shop in my town but they haven't a lot of stuff... :(

PS: where I can buy future floor polish? I don't think i'll find it in the italian stores.

    Thanks in advance.

  9. The 1/48 system may be good but the chest plate cannot close very well and a lot of gap remain, i don't know if os the system or the toy's design...

I think this may be an isolated occurance, because there really aren't any gaps anywhere in the chest region on my 1/48's. Everything seems to fit nice and tight.

Oh man, my engrish sucks... :D

I mean, when i transform my 1/48 in battroid the back plate(where there is the backpack) cannot close too much to the chest place due to the leg system and so the chest is very large and there is about 1cm of empty space, everyone can notice the huge hole behind the valk's head.

  10. The link didn't work for me - turned into an Alta Vista page.

First u have to use Internet explorer not netscape nor firebird or other browsers

I use M. Firefox and it works just doing "save link as" as it do with Internet explorer.
