I didn't realize the extent of this 'till I got to interact with them at one of my old jobs. We had someone who took their familiy and 40 friends on a caribbean cruise for fun...for fun. We had another who went to clubs with $400 cover charges and invited a dozen friends (and some people he just met that night) to hang with him. If you spend money like that, a few grand for "the best" car wax isn't really that big a deal. About 4 years ago is when I watched M7, but thats the last "new" anime I watched... So as far as my anime watching goes, thats recent.

Yeah like A7 said, Anime Friend was a subcontracted animation company.... They worked cheaper than the Big West guys, but they also did lousy work. They primarily did the poorly animated episodes.

I agree here. That's one of the things I enjoy about Macross' sequels. We're not being hit with rehashes of Hikaru over and over, so each new story lets you see the Macross universe from a diffrent perspective. I like the concept in Macross 2 of the main character not being a soldier... That was kinda cool.

I have decided to clean up my M3 and keep it for another year.. It had 8 miles on it when I got it, now it has 160k. I apparently like driving it, so I guess it doesn't really matter as I am still excited about the thing. The thing is still in showroom condition. I thought about the Lotus, and it would be awesome, but I think I would give up a LOT of comfort by getting that car. Going to try to save about 75k and get a 911 next year. Smart move? What do you guys think.
