hehe! I wouldn't be surprised if that's just an original Yamato example pictured! Can't see how it could have any less tampo than they already don't!
The Yamato has UN Spacy tampo'd under the wings. Isn't the trend with Arcadia now to give you stickers?
It will be interesting to see.

You know how to make me buy this again Arcadia?
Shoulder articulation.
-
Sad because no FB2012
Happy because I'll be saving money!

So that new Devastator from Toyworld, it's...

BOO!!!!!!
Sad face.

3. But only for the reactive armour. I have a feeling it will be my last Arcadia purchase too (once I have the armour). The value is just not there.
-
Wow that's nice! And I see rubber treads too!
I'm a little disappointed with the treads not being on the backs of the arms, but this is still an impressive piece! Might be my first DX9 purchase!

Well, I guess you're just lucky or you just didn't have the infamous MP-09 Rodimus.
The MP-cassettes were also reported to be quite fragile, especially Laserbeak...As such, Takara/Hasbro MPs and Yammies/Arcadias have quite different levels of complexities, aesthetics and functions that they are really just not comparable.
I owned Takara V1 MP-09, no problems. Sold it cause I needed some fast cash. Many months later I bought the Hasbro version. It gets no special treatment over any other MP when being transformed and definitely gets a rougher handling then my Arcadia YF-19. No problems.
MP Laserbeak - No problems.
MP Megs is probably the only exception. It gets handled _very_ carefully. More so than the YF-19.
I think that Arcadia need to do some factory shopping. I highly doubt that the one they're using is the only one that can meet their demands. There's always someone out there willing to do it cheaper.

Not a fan of the idea of a horn on a lion...
Otherwise it's pretty neat.

HLJ have taken payment. But now I've got to wait for MP Tracks :-/

Not to mention it also contained the biggest jerk the TF franchise has ever known: Sentinel Prime.
Who seriously didn't want to punch him in that massive chin of his?

It's tied with Beast Wars for best series ever. Great story and characters. A lot of people are put off by the human villans but I think it's great to see something different and have a laugh. I'm slowly collecting all the toys. Some of the best transformers designs are in that line. I wish we'd got a supreme class Omega Supreme. It would have been great. It's a shame the toys and cartoon got cut short because of the movie.

Idk I think the Paint job on Scream will probably make it look pretty cheap, as with most Hasbro releases.
Really plain white and red.
They're going with a blue nosecone.
Enough said.

Oh yeah, a new comic series featuring cover art by veteran comic book artist Whilce Portacio.
Whilce Portacio's Cover Revealed for Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift
Hopefully it's bette than the prequel TPB. that story was less than impressive.

I used to have that comic. I think on the cover it said something along the line of "The crossover you never wanted to happen!"
Someone enjoyed it though, because this is happening now:

Damn. Was hoping for news of the next season

Yeah, but I hold the first one in such high regard purely for the opening scene with Blackout taking out the military base. It has a cool soundtrack too.
ROTF is easily the worst of the lot though. While it has a few good fight scenes, it was far outweighed by all the bad stuff.

I'm sure there's one lurking around here somewhere.I know I've seen people insisting the live-action movies are great and what is anyone complaining about. With some serious putting of words in mouths and grand warping of reality to make their points.I maintain the less-unpopular opinion that each subsequent installment is less bad than what came before, and if the trend continues they are dangerously close to actually making a movie worth watching.
I think you have it around the wrong way. The first one is a cool popcorn movie. Flawed, but enjoyable. After that they all went horribly downhill. So much so that I couldn't even get more than halfway through the 4th one before losing interest.

Yeah I see it too. There is definitely something a little off about it. I think the hood needs to be a little flatter for starters. Side skirts, as stated above, need to be closer to the ground as well. The back wheels look giant, and the front wheels don't look like they are touching the ground... maybe it's the angle but it doesn't look right to me.
It looks like somebody bent it and made it banana shape.
Surely I'm not the only one seeing that?
I think the face sculpt looks a little "young" too.

I wonder why they would use ball joints for the shoulders. Is there not enough room for an universal swivel joint inside the shoulders? To me the ball jointed shoulders are one of the reasons not to get the figure.
I believe it was required for the transformation. But since I haven't tried to transform him myself, I can't say for sure.
According to an interview on TFW with the designer, that's correct. He played around with different designs but a ball joint was the only thing compact enough to allow the transformation to work.

The teal is a little more vibrant than I remember, but looks like Trippy's going to be a straight-up reissue and not a weird brown/gold repaint.
I never had Trypticon as a kid but always wanted him. This is sooooooo bought
