If you don't mind me asking, where'd you find it super cheap at?
Bought it from a friend. It was missing his gun but that didn't worry me as its for my son. I paid $60 for it (it retailed for $200 I think here in Australia), I still feel like it wasn't worth it.

Yep.
#VoteTrypticon FTW!
I probably won't buy it though. I recently picked up a Generations Metroplex and was disappointed. Good thing it was uber cheap. I just think Tryppy is the most deserving, being how he fought Metroplex recently in the Monstrosity comic

Yeah. I don't have the desire to import Takaras, and Hasbro's relationship with TRU has made US MPs more expensive and more trouble than their worth.
Meanwhile, Leader PM Prime is an Ultra Magnus retool? Hmm. UM is one of the best non-MP Transformers in ages, so even though a Powermaster Prime that isn't a transforming cab that combines with his trailer is a massive disappointment, I'm betting I'll pick him up anyway.
I don't understand the love for Leader UM. I mean, he's ok, but so many people gush over him and I just don't see it.
This is coming from a massive Magnus fanboy too.

I'm not sure why glue is even necessary for this cap piece. It has to be just to keep it in place while the parts are assembled. It is in no way required for the ball and socket connection to work. If the socket is closed all the way, it completely encloses even the metal half of the ball.
The only reason I can think of is that gluing the ball halves together makes assembly easier. When I pulled apart the ankle on my Arcadia YF-19 the ball halves were not glued. But it made getting it back together a little tricky because the halves kept separating when I was reassembling it.
Either way, it's a dumb issue to have on what (for me, being in Australia) is a $400 toy.

Cancelled my Po for the 0S. Give the AUD, I can't justify it.

Somebody over at TFW said that Tryp's in stock and readily available in stores.
In Australia...
Has been for ages

There's only one thing I currently want that is out of my reach:
UCS Millenium Falcon. I didn't have the cash when they were released. Regretted it ever since and now prices are stupid. I'm so hoping it gets a re-release with the new movies.

I like the stadium lights.

Haven't been in here for a while. Some great developments have been happening!!!
With the wall mounts, something to consider is if they are clear, then you will be able to see the mounting plugs/holes underneath. It might be worth, if you are thinking of buying these, to do some research on the mounting solution prior. You would also have to be pretty neat drilling your holes.
Keep up the good work Yeti!

Ah ok.
Guess you guys saw the BAPE MP-10 red color went on sale yesterday.
From what I can tell you could only get one in HK at the bape store there, and you had to stand in line and get a raffle ticket, so it's even more rare than the Green version.
I'm seeing them on Japanese sites for 80,000 yen and one on ebay for $1200.
No cheaper middle men this time.
I saw a few on Taobao for about 300 yesterday but they sold uber quick. Guess you can always wait for the KO haha
I like this colour. I'm hoping to pick one up down the line for a reasonable price. Have seen genuine green ones go for around $250 lately so I'd pay $300 for this one. No more though.

I'm guessing that with Bandai's reveal of the 1/1800 DYRL SDF-1 that It's now a safe assumption that we'll never see the Yamato 1/3000 mould released again. Not that there was much hope.
-
I'm down for one of these. It's always nice to get a new Valk design.
-
That SDF-1 is probably going to cost at least 500+ USD.
Still cheaper than a Yamato 1/3000 is at the moment.
-
I read that Hasbro Asia are releasing Ramjet too. So it won't be _that_ limited.

I've been chasing a YF-21 for a while now and one (1st release) has come up locally for approx $262 USD.
Seems a bit pricey (I recently missed out on one for 18000 Yen) but I haven't been keeping up. What do you guys think?

The waist on my tomahawk was incredibly loose when i first got it. I popped open the body and put some nail polish on the joint. Now it holds poses. It is very simple to take apart, just a couple of screws.
Apparently so.. my Tomahawk was a 2nd hand example and it was flopping around all over the place. The nail polish trick Garfinkel mentioned worked a treat!
Thanks gents. Will crack out the Future polish and see what I can do. The toes on mine are pretty loose too.

I joined the Destroid club today:
Are they generally a little floppy? This holds poses, but the slightest bump and over it goes.

IMO the Classics Prime mould is still the best (non Masterpiece) Optimus going around. It decently posable and good fun to transform. Looks good in both modes and if you want a trailer for him you can get the Fansproject G3 trailer.

Yeah I'm a bit short on cash this month as well. Figures. I've been after one for ages and one finally pops up at a decent prices and I don't have the funds :-/
Oh well, another one will pop up down the track. If it was a 1/3000 SDF-1 though, I probably would have found the money, with not having to pay Amazon broker fees and all.

YF-21 for 18,000 Yen
http://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1032059911&ref=list
It's a bit vague on the condition so a pass for me.

Think of it as a "Nicely done Hasbro Transformer" you will feel much better!
I was going to post something very similar. It's looks good when compared to, say, leader class Jetfire. Battroid mode looks nice except for those tabs, but the other modes are pretty bad compared to anything Macross.
Definitely not worth the price of admission though.

Yeah he does have little feet. But what are you going to do?

This happened to me. He's cool and all, but as you said, 80s engineering, there's not a lot to him really. He'll make a great toy for my son when he's a bit older
