  1. I thought it would be a good idea to transfer over some of the templates from my ealier Destroid thread to this thread for easy reference. First off, here is the HWR-00 mkII Monster. (credit Phyrox)

  3. Hey there folks. The turnout for this thread was great. Several images were recieved that would make for great coloring templates. I have decided to transfer the images over to the larger master mecha color thread so they can all be in one place. Thanks for the collective enthusiasm!!
  4. I came across this image in my files, an I am trying to recall where I got it. I seem to remember somewhere on MW, under the models section, where colored profiles of various VFs were shown like this. I havent been able to find the location, would anyone have a link?
  5. Those resin models are nice ghostryder. They are very detailed, and one can easilt see what parts are what in the different modes. Thanks. I managed to find some ruff scans, I believe they were from a sourcebook for VF-X.
  6. Here is that top view hikaru. Somewhat ruff, but the design could be used to make a nice blank. One thing I did notice is that the cockpit is identical to the VF-1, so that should definitlely help us in the design.
  7. Here is my rendition of the side view of the VF-X-4 prototype, later to become the VF-4 Lightning III. Anyone interested in helping me design the other sides (top, front, bottom, rear)?
  8. Would anyone have any scans or images of the transformation squence of the VF-4 Lightning III. I am hoping to compile an overall accurate despictation of how this mecha transforms from fighter to battloid.
  9. Would anyone have any profile images of the Spratan, Tomahawk, Phalanx or Defender?
  10. Is there any designs anyone is specifically looking for?
  11. There is a beautiful thread filled with lineart templates for the various VFs. The purpose of this thread is meant as a companion to that one, but this one is specifically for mecha other than the VFs, such as the Destroids, Power Armor and Battlepods, as well as perhaps anything else such as vessels and vehicles. I hope to post templates for the other mecha, and welcome anyone who has any templates to post theirs as well. And the color schemes from the lineart is also welcome here. For starters, here is lineart for the Monster. If anyone has any larger or higher res images of any mecha, feel free to add their own.
  12. Beautiful work on the VFs from Macross Zero. I haven't seen these anywhere else.
  13. Captain Bruno J. Global was the captain of the SDF-1 Macross. But was there any reference to the names of the captains of the Daedalus and Prometheus before they were assimilated into the SDF-1. Is there any mention to them in other media, such as comics or novels? Are there any other high ranking officers shown on board the SDF-1 other than Global and the bridge crew?
  14. I have occasionally heard someone ask 'What would a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter look like as a Variable Fighter?' Well, we shall soon find out. I have just recieved word that the producers of Transformers toys (Hasbro) and Star Wars toys have gotten together to create 'Star Wars Transformers'. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=8&itemid=7937 Part of me is like 'YES!!' Part of me is like 'NOO-OO-OOH!!!' Whatever the case, the do definitely look interesting. Each of the vehicles transforms into a Star Wars figure, rather than a robot (ie. Darth Vader is a TIE Fighter). Of the 11 that will be available, they will include: Darth Vader/TIE Fighter Luke Skywalker/X-Wing Obi-Wan Kenobi/Jedi Starfighter General Grevious/Wheel Bike Boba Fett/Slave I They are available in January 2006.
  15. Hmm... Try posting this question in the Fan Works forum, you may get a hi-res response.
  16. There was a great link here that I have since been unable to find. It included the image below of the different profile images of the VF-1 in fighter and battloid modes. There was also a version of the below image for each vrsion (VF-1A, VF-1S, VF-1J) as well as some other lineart. Would anyone know what the link for the site was again?
