I got them on both on eBay, one was a set with the VF-1S TV 30th, and the other with the VF-1A DYRL. I was kind of surprised to see them at a relatively good price, as the parts alone have sure gone up in the past week or two.

I caved in and ordered a VF-1S Max from Amazon.jp using Fromjapan.jp. Thanks for the tip VF-Zer0S! Cost me $177 before fees and shipping. Somehow I managed to buy 6 Valkyries in 20 days.... my bank account is in much needed recovery.

Man I just joined this hobby wow its expensive! So worth it though. I just ordered a vf-1s TV version after finishing sdf macross and its the Best Macross series so far. Ill admit it was slow at fist but it just sucked me into the void. I really hope they rerelease these kits becasue it would be a shame to see such quality disappear from macross fans.

Yea, you need the vf-1j and a vf-1a as well for the sdf macross! haha That was what happen to me after I got the vf-1s fokker.

I nicked mine off Mandarake - 10000 JPY + about 1800 JPY shipping, decent deal methinks. I initially wanted to buy off this storce called iplamo, but Mandarake was cheaper + a lot of you guys used it before... Now iplamo has the Cavaliers out of stock as well.

Question for people who have the Ikea Detolf case. I know when you purchase new, you have to assemble it. My question is, when you need to transport it from one location to another after you assembled it, do you move it whole or disassemble it? I am about to pick one up from Craigslist and wondering is it easy to disassemble then reassemble or just move it as a whole unit.
