Only $19 for the Ex-Gear from FromJapan? Is it any good?

Yoshimitsu style-ish pose?
-
take it out of it's box, free it from it's Styrofoam prison, transforming and pose it and whoosh it around the room.
When I hold it in fighter mode yesterday, I feel like swooshing it around. Very nice and put together whether its fighter, gerwalk or battroid. Now if Bandai can make me 1/60 Konig Monster I can retire happily.

More pose! I love how the arms swing forward in fighter mode without having to lower the legs.

I like the classic Optimus Prime because the transformation is straight forward but could be more skeletal with the vehicle outer parts as disguise. Same as Gundam (tho I don't watch one). RX-78 is my favourite. The recent Gundam designs seem a little too busy with generic head design and wings every where.
This is why I like Macross concept which Fighter (fast pursuit mode), GERWALK (hover and better aerial acrobatic mode) and Battroid which I believed built for melee combat with giant alien.
Michael Bay's Transformers would probably cause headache for toymakers. The recent ones even smoke, japanese and dinosaurs. How does that happen in Cybertron? They have female robot but yet does not serve purpose in reproduction. Too much strayed away from the original concept I think.

personally, I've had the best luck with super glue. it wears the longest of anything I've tried and it dries quickly. I also work with the method of completely disassembling the joint, coating the contact surfaces, then letting everything dry 100% before putting it back together. though on the bandai VF-25 hips specifically, they've got a removable plastic insert that provides all of the friction. you can stick something like little bits of card stock or rubber behind that piece to ad more pressure to the joint without doing any permanent modifications. that can make any fallow up work easier if more drastic solutions are needed down the line.
I used a little superglue as well to add thickness to the ball joints in Ozma head lasers. Now they are tight. Btw I got my VF-25S used.
Now my VF-25F re-issue starts having that lazy shoulders problem.

I have a new hatred for YF-29S. It is very frustrating transforming it back to gerwalk or fighter due to the head being difficult to push back in. I have to remove the head lasers to avoid breaking it.

This is awesome, but some people are claiming that the braces are needed. Luck of the qc draw. Not very fun. Still waiting for my SAL shipment.
When not mounted on the stand, I only use brace in GERWALK mode so that I can swing down the waist and metal fork down for better mobility. Now it can move like ED-209. Other than that it is all tight in each mode.

chyII2, we all started with one.... there will be more to come!
My latest, Hikaru's VF-1A, need to get fast packs now!
Nice! I'm growing to like VF-1. I might get one next.

^Not going to lie, whenever I was going on a long enough trip away from my collection I would try and stash at least on Valkyrie in my bags/luggage just to have.
Pretty sure a 25F, Yamato YF-19 and Alto YF-29 have made trips with me.
I'd do it when I lived in FL and came back to MI for my annual 2 week vacation and sometimes even on trips for my old job.

That's why I get another copy of VF-25F while I am abroad. One for play here and one at home. I will bring home the Tornado kit and YF-29S for storage during the holiday.

I took that photo before Luca parts came out.
This is the last photo before they gone into hibernation while I study abroad.

Hoping for some Help
I received my 2nd copy of the Ozma 29 today and noticed something that seems to be a trend and I wanted to confirm it with others on here before I attempt a return. On both of my Ozma 29's the left leg wobbles left to right at the connection piece that goes into the metal intake. Its the gray piece that connects into the rear of the metal intake. I opened it up and there is no defect it just wobbles and the right side does not. Could you guys please check yours and let me know?
I only got one copy but mine is tight.
-
I missed these guys.
-
So we can all agree Bandai finally scored a home run here?
Yes! I would get another copy. Very tempting idea.
-
Thank you everyone, glad you like them.
@KH355hamdi: Very nice desk, I see an Aventador and is the silver car an Agera-R?
Thanks Saburo. Desk is IKEA. The cars are 1/43 Fujimi Aventador and Minichamps MacLaren F-1. They have very good detail down to the brake calipers.

My new favourite. Joints are super tight. A lot of learning on transforming the toy. Landing gear door was a little tight at the front and requires a bit wiggling to pull it out. Overall, I love this design in all modes. Reminds me a lot of VF-0.
GERWALK with hinge swung upward.
I prefer the hinge swung down for better mobility. Dynamic pose!
I love the insectoid shape of this Battroid.
With the gang.

Mine just shipped as well. EMS.

Clearing space for Chronos. No shipping notification yet from NY. Not in a rush either so I shall wait patiently.
-
No shipping yet from NY. My guess FedEx > EMS > SAL. Mine is EMS. Good thing the other pre-orders are on FedEx.
-
Hopefully getting shipping notification soon.

Got email today from NY. Preparation in progress. I'm trying EMS this time.
