They're two teenagers who want to go steady.

Yes, but that's... clunky.
You have to move the head laser of a VF-1A (or VF-0D) out of the way before you extend or retract the landing gear too

-
With regards to the nose gear, you could probably just flip the weapon's contain up slightly (which takes the gun pod with it) to give clearance and then put it back down.

naw it's just shots of it transforming and a pic next to the Hi Metal VF-19
it's appropriately tiny

I know there's some Muv-Luv fans around here that might appreciate these. It's a pair of great build ups of Kotobukiya's Tactical Surface Fighter kits painted and decaled like their real like counter parts.

F-18 Super Hornet VFA-31 Tomcatters.

The series has an alternate universe angle where an alien invasion forced airplane makers to build giant robots so these take the place of the real fighter jets.
It's coooooooooooool~ -
Having to buy the Macross II blu rays just to get a hint about the next series is a hell of an incentive.

It's to represent Kakizaki as "Sir Not Appearing In This Game."

I'm loving this scheme more and more. Did you take these pics yourself Veef? I'd like to see more screen shots of the other two liveries from various angles in the three different modes if possible.
There's only five in the game with the first three just being the all white scheme like the toy with red, blue, or green stripes.

the last two are these which are just palette swaps. It'd be better to just photoshop the toy pics than deal with the game's lighting.

I sell hands for that toy through my Shapeways shop

Huh. So the 30 is the amalgamation of a lot of Froating Head's passions. Thanks for that. Perhaps he could make a book of ALL his mecha designs with some explanation of his thought process while designing them. That'd be very interesting... provided a good English translation was available.

This book actually covers a fairly wide sampling of his work but if you wanted an in depth look it's easier to track down some individual Armored Core art books and just look at the pre-production and finalized designs.
I have one that covers the PS1 games where one of the flying power suit enemies is unmistakably the origins of the Reactive Armor VF-0.
-
He actually stopped working on Armored Core when they transitioned to the PS3 (other than the design of WHITE GLINT) but the influence is certainly there :3
-
I assume that the standard weapon bay resembles the missile rack of the Reguld Light Missile Carrier:
Also you have to remember that in addition to Macross, Kawamori was the main mechanical designer for the Armored Core series for years and lots of AC's weapons are big boxy missile launchers.
Also some of the head designs are very similar to Valkyrie heads.

I was checking FG-site and found someone made a Lego VF-9
http://www.fg-site.net/archives/2962963
and here's someone's scratch built version
-
http://experten.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2014/04/55in11-8ee7.html
He's really moving on making resin kits of second and third tier Valkyries. The VF-5000B is a slight remold of the Dynamite 7 ones he already made and the VF-9 I believe is the first transforming kit of this design.
Someone made a scratchbuilt transforming VF-9 before but that was a one of a kind. He's basically done every playable Valkyrie from Macross M3! Just gotta do the Variable Glaug now.

Tucker Smallwood says, "THIS ONE'S ON SOCOM!"
And then you hate yourself for wasting this much time for a bad mpeg striptease. -

i love it just the way it is
billy joel taught me to do that

Falconkpd and I just did a podcast about old console flight sims and we got on the subject of the indomitable Agile Warrior F-111X so I had to take some video of it to share. You may remember this game because it is an amazing experience.
Starring Tucker Smallwood.

Aya Endo voices one of the characters in the Kantai Collection browser based game and it seems like no coincidence that the Bismarck looks and acts like Sheryl Nome. She's even got the haughty attitude.

She shows up around 6:43 in this video.
some fans have even made crossover art because of the similarities.

Macross 7 is pretty acceptable for children bar a handful of scenes with nudity. Sivil does get her clothes ripped off at one point and spends some time floating in a glowing ball while naked in the fetal position though for a few episodes.
Yeah that happens. -
Mylene Jenius custom bass by ESP. They'll make 10 and sell all 10.
It's win win deal.
