    Initial D live action Movie

    It's not a great or good movie, but it was atleast ok.  This is a HK production live action racing movie so I didn't have any high expectations of it in the first place.  I saw lots of HK/JP live action racing movies and most of them were blahhhh.  And believe it or not this Initial D movie (racing theme) is consider one of the better ones out :)

    But they really need to have more Drifting,, that AE86 needed to drift more.  The Pacing seems somewhat out of place from time to time.  Need more close up shots and angle shots. The background music doesn't fit some of the parts, and it even stopped in the middle where there should be continous.  The acting wasn't all that good either.

    The asian girls seem to like it because there's some hot guys in it. (Jay and Edison)

    The guys will watch it because it's either a racing theme, live Anime, or because they know the girls would watch it too.

    There's japanese, Taiwanese, Cantonese actors, so its easier for them to promote this movie in those region , I guess.

    It was a ok movie :)

    Lets just say I enjoyed this movie more than a recent US movie that Bombed.

    Have you seen Jackie Chan's Thunderbolt ? That's the only HK racing movie that I approve to be the best~!

    Yep~! It was totally bad! The scene, camera angle - totally ridiculous!! They tried to imitate the anime but failed miserably. daymn....I shouldnt have watched this movie...cuz I thought I could be drawn to watch the anime after I watch this movie...it turned out that the movie ruined my first impression on Initial D anime......dunno, but it just gives me the impression - "there's lots and lots more other better anime out thereee!!" :lol::D:)

    You didn't know?  The hope was that there would be some character development in this episode but that didn't happen.

    with only 9 eps left, how dare they insert a recap?? urgh...Im imagining a hasty ending...where the whole universe will be destroyed...and only shinn and lunamaria are left to rule the world... :ph34r:

    Downloading ep. 41 raw right now....From the people who've seen it already, Athrun's half is worth a listening to. Otherwise, nothing new. Come back next week. <_<

    Oh and they've put in IJ, SF, Akatsuki and Legend release it's DRAGOONs in the opening. Kira's half is boring. Go ahead and skip the episode if you want.

    edit: More little things: the coloring of SF and IJ's joints are brighter in the opening. Preview for next week shows the DOMs landing and a patched Athrun going out.

    transforming guide...I dont recall there's ever a transfoming guide posted here...its kinda tricky at first...but as you transforms it like, 2-3 times., it'll all works fine...but please pay full attention to the head antennas during transformation to or from the battroid mode esp. when the head goes through the opening.

    Also, pay careful attention to the heatshield. Dont force it out, or put excessive force when sliding it out ( during transformation to battoird mode). It should slide out smoothly once you get the hang of it

    Then, the BP8 part...hmm again, avoid from pushing down the backpack too hard when transforming it back to fighter mode & dont lay your valk on top of the back pack in battroid mode....

    those three, I believe, are the fragile spots for a 1/48 1S

    have fun figuring out the transformation~!. I dont want to ruin the surprises that the 1/48s have in stock for you ;)

    Im not saying that I got better price on the valk than yours but I just wanna let you know that not long ago, someone got screwed (money sent, didnt receive item) on ebay in the same situation like yours...preordered on ebay, then never got the item for months after the release....and evilbay's feedbacks cannot be left after 90 days of purchase...so its a lose-lose situation...so, please be careful when preorderin on ebay. So, a better solution to this would be to buy from your favourite sellers here in the macrossworld forum (yeay). Lots of good sellers dwell here (Noel, Neova, Kevin, Ken, Tam etc etc) & you can find them easily in the dealers thread...

    but then, prolly its not a scam..& good luck

    Just wanna let you guys know that I'm selling a fully painted recast head on ebay..its painted using airbrush as another experiment for me as a noob in airbrushing~! :)

    Anyone who are too lazy to paint their own recast 1S heads..here's you chance of owning a painted one~!

    Actually those are the stock photos taken from the previous release (1st release) when everybody thought the color were slightly blue ala DYRL...but it turned out to be more greenish..

    Yeaa..

    Finally ! Looking good so far..& its designed using a CAD program (or ProE here in the US)..meaning that it'll most prolly be looking good ala the 1/48s......I dont really care about the 1/100...but this one looks yummy :rolleyes::);)
