One way to do it is to mask off the area around the paint that you want off. Then use a high grid sand paper to sand it away. ~160-200 grid should do. If not just mask the area then prime it over then paint. (both should work for metal too, but you need a metal prime for the metal part)

I'm sure glad to hear that Monster 1/100 is confirmed.. but,...I hate to say that what are the cost and the release date? I presume this sucker, since it's so big will cost no less than 1/48+FP,.. I'm estimating $160-200. Also, I don't presume they will release it till X'mas since we also have the macross zero, armor set, hanger stand coming out. I do admit it's a great teaser for the moment until I see the real thing for sale!

Those joints look pretty good,.. I myself was busy remodeling Five Star Stories fix pose resin kit to make them poseable. OH I'm sure having fun alright, this project of mine is sure taking more time and pocket change than I expected (testing ball joint vs Mega Joint both from HJP yet still testing). Good luck to all who's doing joints project!

Hi all,

I've been building plastic kit for a long time, and planning to do some resin kit. Can some one be able to give me a brief summary on the difference between RESIN & PLASTIC?? I Know that most resin an't posable and yet requre "BRASS PIN"?? (Where do you order these?). Is each pieces of resin a soild piece? (Not hollow). Also, if I have a robot resin kit and I buy ball joints or connectors from HJP, will I be able to drill holes on the parts to fit the joints in to give a min movement? THX in advance for all the help!

I've read some threat on the new fancy yamato display stand for all the yamato macross but lost it. Does anyone know when will they be arriving?? and around how much will they cost? THX in advance,

Yeah there is, right at the beginning when you set up a play alone mission. It allow you to chose what class of weapons you use and SS is the highest. After that just go out hit a couples of bad guys out and head back in the mother ship to reload and you should have enough pts to get pretty much whatever you want.

I've heard this rumor that there will be a new Macross game coming out for PC?? and suppoesitly it will combine mospeada (Robotech Alpha, or Macross Alpha) material also. According to what I've been reading it's call "Macross Invation".. I've read this off some PC game magazine.. If somebody can confirm or have any infor if this is just a rumor or an on coming issue will be great!

First, have to say you did an excellent job on the scupt, I'm temped to get a couple set for all my 1/48 hum.......From what I've been reading on the thread I presume you will be designing a hand for holding the gun, a pair for the Fist, and probably an open hand somewhere? right? I have a question about your design, for your gun holding hand, will it have the same width as the original flimsy hand? What I means is that will the hand be able to retrack back inside when you transform the 1/48? I'm just curious after seeing those amazing pic.

I've seen alot of you have problems with the control, language and the game play of Macross VO or VOXP, here's a link that pretty much answer all your questions.

VOXP have less running problem, better option on control (which you can actually pick and choose). VOXP also have a rearrange animation clip, no different from the original VO just rearrange animation no more or less. Yet there was an older thread talk about it, just get the VOXP and don't worry about the VO regular. In game wise, there's a more accurate hits and miss on the VOXP game play which VO doesn't have (have several bugs which you barely notice).
