  1. I know some people who are buying it. Its worth it I think. Think of how rare this piece will be cause not too many can afford it and I think it is done per order. Rather than mass produced they make a small limited amount. I think thats why they did a Mail order so they have an idea of how many to make.

  2. Meh 1/48 Im telling you after Soze's prices its only 165 for fast packs and then all it is shipping. I dont think it will cost 40 dollars to Vancouver Canada.

I had two 1/60 VF-1A and teh VF-1S and i have to say I was not impressed. There is a little hook thing that keeps the chest plate locked in fighter that snapped off after showing transformation to a friend. No amount of super glue can fix that. I also broke the hinge on the backpack of the 1/48 luckily super glue and Zip kicker are my best modeling friends so in less than two seconds it was fixed.

aside from problems of breaking things; bigger is always better. It would be like saying "which should I get the MPC Optimus or the Reissue G1 optimus" well duh obvioulsy you wait patiently another month and you go buy the MPC optimus.

  3. I read somewhere that some people were able to order parts. Im jsut saying why not get the stuff that is fromt he Hilaru 1S like Head, pilot, and heat shiled voila done you know have a 1S!!!

  4. VF-19 pilot-

Here is a freat example. Take a look at the people who cherish American Muscle Cars. Then there are those like me who like Japanese cars. There are those who like Euro cars. Who is more righteous? Who is to say that a Ferrari is better looking than a AC Shelby Cobra or a Nissan Skyline GTR? No one does. IT all depends what you like. I mean go with car tuning. Some people are all over big blocks. More displacement more torque=more HP and straight line speed. While Japanese cars are small engines lots of HP efficiency. Which is better? there are arguements for either one and they would be both right.

So be more tolerant than by saying "What are you people thinking?"

  5. Little supper kids driving, Toufu, impossible maneuvers... I rather watch Gao Gai Gar.

Hey Sebastian if you see my friend Christian he'll tell you Initial D is not impossible its a reality. Im close to that level while there is a Kid who is 16 years old drifting in the D1 drifiting competitions.

I don't think the lack of realism comes from the idea of a kid driving like that, but things like an AE86 beating two RX-7s, and MR2, a Miata, etc. THAT's pretty unrealistic. Not to say it isn't a good car, but it's not at that level.

HAve you seen D1 Grand prix? A Trueno kicked everyone's ass even Jerry and his Silivia S13

  6. Comic Kaze-

Yeah I would for the US palstic one. They're so cheap that is the one I will do the most mods for and paint jobs. Like new wheels, interior, Maybe that grill idea etc.

Exo- Yeah it jsut pops out.

    Stealthlurker-

haha yeah Im not going for Fast and Retarded look so yeah all performance baby!!!!!

  8. Yeah Ive seen it about a year and a half ago. maybe even two cant remember. It was right around when I started to watch Initial D. I liked EX Driver.

Two girls drive Lancia Stratos and Lotus Elan ( I think its an Elan but its definately a Lotus)

Male boy drives Lotus Caterham Super 7. In my opinion a great car. HAd the great chance of test driving one. There is a group here in Socal that sells rather well done kits. It generally weighs around 1000-1200 lbs (depending on carbion fiber option) and can have a motor from 90 hp to 280 hp. I drove one with a 200 hp motor. It was a tuned Ford Zetec motor froma ford focus. They are extremely fast. The 1000 lbs one with a280 hp motor can run 0-60 mph in 3 seconds!!!!! Base price is around $19k I will prolly get one for my midlife crisis.

here is a pic of what it looks like

  9. This was an easy mod to do. By luck I found a scrapped 1/24 scale WRX diecast toy in a drawer of mine that was slotted for modificatiopn but was left behind and stowed away. The engine bay was already painted when I bought it. It also has a detailed Interior dash with painted console and decals like thh Momo badge on the Steering wheel. I will swap the steering whell later. SO without further ado i cut a little here and sanded a little here to fit the engine bay in Smokescreen. (no the gun doesnt fit with this in there) oh I also paln to swap wheels too. The Diecast toy has these 5 spoke rims that look like Volk Rays TE37s
