  1. why would he need step by step pics if he never bought the toy? i mean he said he had to spend his money on get his brakes fixed right? i mean, its kind of hard to fix a toy when they didn't have money to buy it to begin with, no?

i hate it when i waste my time doing everything i was asked only to have someone flake out on me like a douchebag. dry.gif

please add this member to the blacklist for wasting my time, lying to me twice about sending payment, and waiting a week to tell me the truth. actually he didn't even tell me the truth, i had to connect all his lies to find out the truth. rolleyes.gif

    Gene,

I'm really amazed what extent you would go to post and track my actions and accused me of lying just because I posted something on the "HOW TO FIX" thread. I feel that my time on MW, I've been an honest seller and buyer, and I think a few ppl here can vouche for me. Anyway that's not important, wat it comes down to was me wasting your time. and you had every right to be upset and I'm truly sorry for that. :(

FYI, during that 2 wks timeframe, I was trying to get extra funds for the brakes, the YF-19 and a debt to my local "bookie". I wish everything had went my way and had my cake to eat it too. Unfortunately, that leaves us in this thread and we all know what's the outcome of that.

For me to post on how to fix the 19 was a coincidental, for I've already own 2 YF-19 and acquiring the 3rd one from ya was a custom job I had in mind only. But when it comes to fixing something more important that I use for everyday, and not getting my leg breaking as well...think my custom can wait <_<

Well, I hope that was entertaining for ya and beleive this, it was not a lied, nor does it really matters now. But to accused of lying, that's not my style bro. Just chilled out and enjoy the SuperBowl next week.

  2. Short/long/tall or shot...Overall, I'm very impressed with this toy already.

I think wat I'm worried bout most are the joints and how durable it will be after a few transformation. Seeing all the QC problem on the VF-0S & 0A, hope Yamato will make this one a winner :D

  3. EVERYONE WHO BUYS A YF-19.... to avoid problems folding down the second part of the fuselage, simply fold down the nosecone, unscrew the grey blocks from the hinge, and file down the tan tabs so they angle towards the inside of the fuselage, and file down the angled edge of the grey blocks with the square hole in them at the same angle they are already molded at, adding a slight curvature for the tan tabs to ride on. Do this BEFORE you try and transform your 19 to avoid warping, stressmarks, or possibly breakage.

    Hey promethuem5,

That's a very good tip bro. can you provide some step by step photos? Sorry, I'm illiterate.

  4. 1st and foremost, my hats off to Yamato for making this beautiful bird, my 2nd favorite to the Yf-21. I'm sure there can be some modification & tweak to make it more accurate to the lineart. But if no changes made by Yamato, that will not stop me from owning one regardless :p

Anyway, just playing around w/ the composite Dobber had put together and wat if the following modification was made to have a longer nose and shorter tail fin, will this be more accurate?

  5. Just a slight correction ... it's "xstoys." biggrin.gif

My bad, thx for the correction bro :p BTW, thx for the photos..your figures are awesome and that's what inspired me on this project.

Hot dam thats the best looking figure I have seen, its just un holy how you sculpted it, any plans on doing a recast.

Would love to cast this for you guys, just don't know how. Any takers?

  6. Lucy Mcmillan? I'll do her only if she's hotttttttt! :D:p

Thx everyone for the compliment! :) There are a few areas which should of been more accurate to the lineart(butt cushion), but tat's my lack in skill and patience :p I'll try to add the bump to the side of his jaw, hopefully I'm successfull.

    MT,

I believed tat by our member Xtoys. He also created a Guld action figure as well. :)

  7. Hey guys,

Just wanted to share with you a project which I just finished. It took me bout 6 month to work on this particular built. This was done sparingly with watever time I had. Just finished the small detail on the kit, primed and it's now ready for paint.

Using a recast 1/6 Berserk kit, along with epoxy putty(took me awhile to figure out how to use it properly), plastic styrene sheets and wave optional part, I would like to present to you Guld Bowman from Macross Plus.

    Dedicated to all Pioneers....enjoy!

  8. Somehow, the pilot looks like Low-Viz 1's pilot

Yeah, tat's definetly the LV ver. 1 pilot. It would be nice if the pilot was painted in "Stealth" color as well, similar to Roy's color scheme.

Starting to grow on me...to buy or not to buy? <_<

  9. You still amaze me with your brush skills!

Thanks bro, it's actually lots of masking tapes and big brushes. :)

Hey you have a Detonator Orgun. Can you take some pic of it ? I have the same GK but changed it a bit a la Tekkaman. After moving to another city the colours got stuck on the bubblewrapping so it's hidden somewhere beneath my bed .

    TSP,

There are actually a few different Orgun kits which was also produced. The one you're referring to was probably from Kotobukiya, nice kit just didn't like the body proportion. The one I have is a vinyl kit(forget the company name) and a small resin kit, from Kaiyodo. Last pic, is a kit from B-Club, 1/8 Tekkaman Blade...he's huge! BTW, send me the pic of your Orgun-converted to Blade...would love to see it regardless. You might want to strip the paint and just give him a fresh coat of paint. :)

  10. After finishing building both my 1/48 YF-19 & 21 kits, I'm on this buiding binge and I can't stop...I have some serious problem, but I'm not gonna deny it, it was all worth it. <_<:):D Only one kit related to Macross, the rest are Tekkaman kits which took me awhile to find and I'm trying to complete my collection. Just finished adding kotobukiya poly joint system to Tekkaman Dagger,to make it a full action. Same will be applied to the Lance and Rapier kits as well.

  11. 1/100 huh? Were they expensive? I kinda want a set of those now....

You're in luck, just came across this from Yahoo Japan. Great price for this kit w/fast pack option. Once in a while, you'll see the 19...you have to check constantly though. You will need to find someone to bid for you, most Japanese sellers don't ship internationally. Good luck!

those are some great looking kits, nice detail work! it must be hard to come back to a project after being away from it for so long, but it's a good thing you did, those are top notch.

Thanks Veritas, it's was a great way to get back into modeling with, I enjoy every moment of both kits. Wish I didn't start tho, now I'm in this building mode and working on like 3 different kit at the same time.
