  1. I just youtubed "Gira Gira", and I don't recognize it at all. Was it in the movie?
  2. http://www.animetake.com/forums/anime-downloads/11193-multi-macross-frontier-itsuwari-no-utahime-2009-a.html
  3. Oh yeah--I don't like "pink monsoon" at all. Worst song in all of Frontier.
  4. They achieved internal stowage by loading up the bare airframe, then shrink-wrapping it...
  5. I'd just like to state that I like *flightsuit* Grace. There was none of that in this movie, so I'm disappointed. You can find random pointless shower scenes anywhere.
  6. I've had them stop without ringing nor knocking, then say "attempted delivery, no one home".
  7. Why not just show the last 5 eps now? There will be NO audience next year...
  8. I think that should be added to the FAQ too: "If it has English subs, it's a bootleg" "If it was burned before everyone else at MW has seen it yet, they'll be bad Engrish subs"
  9. I was just watching Dogfights again (true, not the most accurate source) but they talked about one of Rodriguez's encounters where he was ready to fire but the IFF indicated "friendly" so he did the infamous "is anyone in burner?" call to identify----and just minutes before they'd needed visual confirmation for the previous MiG, too.
  10. You have to admit, trying to make an avatar of Mrs Greystone would make any simulation flaws immediately apparent to him. Good choice to "experiment" with to try to perfect the process.
  11. FOTR *is* incredibly slow and hard to get through. Took me 2 attempts months apart.
  12. I would assume that with overtechnology, it may be easier than ever to "fake" IFF etc, thus making it even MORE of a requirement to visually confirm identity. Perhaps that explains the very garish squadron and personalized markings we see so much?
  13. Sorry, no idea. Read something once then promptly forgot about it. I know it's been zapped already and was fine. (it doesn't take very long flying around Seattle to find a thunderstorm)
  14. Most are in the super topic hall now: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=29566 http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=28021
  15. Early reviews seem to say it's a 5-hour game with all the flaws of the original and more. I'll just rent it. Fable 3 however, seems like it may actually be what Fable 1 (and 2) promised to be. But I already have a game backlog at the moment, and Fable games often drop in price fairly quickly, so I'll probably wait.
  16. Ok, for watching with a separate sub file, I'm going to say use VLC. Much easier to re-time the subs to fit just right.
  17. Mega Video? You just watched each clip "live", like Youtube, without saving any? Just trying to get a handle on your "video watching situation".
  18. Seconded. Quit re-hashing what we already have superior versions of! Give us stuff we don't have at all, or that we only have very poor, old versions of.
  19. I've got a question----how'd you watch Frontier, as in the TV series? Because AFAIK, just about every player that can play any format that the individual eps were available as, can play the movie and subs. PS---My vote is for Media Player Classic. It plays Quicktime movies better than Quicktime...
  20. The subtitles are subtitles, nothing more. They are not a subbed version of the movie. Depending on what you're playing the movie on, and if everything's in the same directory, the movie may find and load the subs automatically. Otherwise, you'll have to load them manually after you start the movie. As there's about a zillion different video-playing programs out there, they all vary a bit.
  21. Mass-producing a fan-mod is kinda pointless. If they actually made it like the pre-Kawamori prototype, THAT would be impressive. Seriously, a company like that should have been able to do it--I swear you can see mold lines on some of the MP Seeker parts where they were modified from the original. "cut here" and you've got the original version without CFT's and kibble... (it's just 500 hours of dremel work though uber-rock-hard plastic)
  22. And they're not SE's to start with. Thus, the SA designation.
  23. Simply copying the G2 scheme truly would have looked a lot better IMHO. Clear teal tailfins? Tampo-printing the stickers in primary colors? Blech. G1-color stickers on G2-color figures never looked good, I speak from experience. And changing them from silver and metallics to red/yellow/white only makes it worse.
  24. I so want to make some sort of VF-25 Urkel socks comment...
  25. As I said--they've always gotten approval before, so they'll probably get it this time too. The F-15s alone will keep the St Louis line open for a few more years, so Missouri will support it. I read elsewhere that they intend to upgrade their current F-15S's to Silent Eagle standards in the future, but this new batch will simply be "really really upgraded Strike Eagles".
