Inktober Day 2: Bridge Bunny Shammy Milliome.
I've always thought of her as a redhead, hence the freckles.
-
Watching Psycho-Pass on Netflix and I prefer the dub to the sub for this one, although Tsunemori sounds a little bit like Velma to me.
-
Thanks guys. Lots more loose/old stuff in my other room but that's all of my 1/60 macross. Yes, evangelion at the bottom. Trying to do the final fight of asuka but still 4 Evas short
I'd love to see that when it's done!
Oh yeah... 80's rule!!!

To celebrate Inktober and this weekend's Macross World Con, I'm drawing nothing but Macross related stuff for this whole month! Lets see if I can make it the full 31 days...
If you're doing a Macross Inktober too, please feel free to share here!!!
Yesterday's was Minmay on a green post-it. I'll post today's later.

As far as I am aware, no official information exists... though I would assume the number would be roughly comparable to what the Stargazer was able to carry in Macross 7. That would be about thirty-six planes.
Who's Henry?
Oh... My bad... BRUNO J-for-Just-Pimpin' Global.
-
Don't have much but just sharing to add more spam to the macross community . Nevermind the rest, Top row only with a small extension downwards in the middle
Thats VF-1J 30th, VF-1D, VF-1S focker strike parts, fan racer, YF- 19 with super parts, VF-22S Max with fold booster (from the 19), SV-51 nora, VF-25F with super part. yf-30 next to the mp-03 underneath isamu n max, kawamori crossovers . 6 years it took but hopefully I'll get one for each design in time even if it takes (almost) forever
That's a pretty dope display!
Do I spy Evangelion at the bottom there?
-
What's is Captain Global's middle name or has it yet to be revealed?
Don't think we've been told that one...
I'm pretty sure it's Henry Bad*ss-Muthaf*cka Global.

Absolutely breathtaking...

Its worth doing so to find out a little bit about where artists can take inspiration from. I was doing the British equivalent of high-school biology then so it was really striking at the time. For the really curious, spoiler alert:
Theres an experimental walking tank in the "Dominion" manga, not the anime, that is in fact based on the shape of a virus called a T-4 Bacteriophage, a virus that preys on bacteria.
Oh cool! I'm gonna have to break out the manga again.
-
They are so taking my money...
-
Thing that always got me about the "Dominion" manga was that I read it just after having learnt what a "T-4 Bacteriophage" was. (it makes sense in context... ).
Imma have to google that...
-
Maybe it's a good thing I haven't read the mangas. Rail Wars is taking up a lot of my attention right now anyway.
-
SAO II not as engaging as I thought it would be... close to dropping it. Sux because I really loved the first season.

More info..more models jejejej
I hope make this model in 1/60 scale.
Mega House is making Sleipnir figure
Man... that looks pretty sweet. I'm dying to see it with the leg wings extended and with a weapon.
-
The cat girl anime you're thinking of is Dominion, by Shirow-great manga.
I really dug how quirky the manga and anime were, and Shirow's art and character designs were always great. I bought that VHS for 40 bucks from the now defunct Suncoast Video at my local mall. That strip tease scene with the cops was pretty funny.

If I remember what they said during the Robotech Academy Kickstarter correctly, they said that Latin America has the largest Robotech following outside the U.S.
I wouldn't doubt it. A while back, before Frontier came out, I did a googled Macross/Robotech cosplay and a lot of the images were from Latin American blogs and I found a few sites that covered Robotech conventions down there.
I think they recently did a concert thing for Love, Live, Alive with the guy that did Yellow Dancers songs- I have no interest in L*L*A after suffering through Shadow Chronicles.
-
Cool! Very creative! I take it Robotech is popular there?
I'm pretty sure Robotech still has a fairly large following in South America- and I'm talking young fans too, not just old dudes.
-
and how they have orgasm-like reaction when combining
Well, yeah- there's that too.
-
I have been behind on anime this year unfortunately. After Galient I am not sure if I should take on M3, Argevellion, and Captain Earth, or do a supposed classic like Blood +, Black Lagoon, or Outlaw Star.
A lot of my friends are really into Black Lagoon right now so I'll give it a chance.
Outlaw Star was good, but it was overshadowed by BeBop when it was on Adult Swim back in the early millenium. That's one I wouldn't mind revisiting.

Yeah same group. I grew up watching Battle of the Planets,Voltron,Robotech,Etc and then went on to buy the $50 VHS tapes for sub 60 minutes of an OVA. I still remember renting Orguss one tape at a time and then I hit that last US Reditions volume and the Comic Book store guy said he can't get anymore. Years later I would learn why. Glad its finally getting a wider US release thanks to Discotek in 2015.
I still have my Orgus OVA VHS tapes! I need to find them on DVD/Blu-ray. Discotek huh?

Running through an old Shoji anime. Orgasmo-tron triple combiner! Oops. I meant Aquarion. So funny when they combine. Free on Crackle.
I made it through Aquarion through the strengths of the mechs alone. I don't remember much of the plot except for some feral dude who wasn't really feral and a weird Luke-and-Lea type thing going on.
But gyahd the mechs looked so damn cool. I love how the combined robots differed depending on who was the lead ship.

Cool. I just finished the first season of Space Dandy, and I just started Terror in Resonance. I have to build up on Watanabe in preparation for the US Blu-ray release of Bebop.
Sakamichi no Apollon was a pleasant surprise. I'm not really big on slice of life period pieces but I thought this one was done brilliantly.
I recently ran through Samurai Champloo; that one never gets old for me.
-
I have to admit, Sakurai and Iwaizumi are my favorites and the show is really pretty to look at. I need something light anyway after the last few shows I've watched and this one looks like it can be fun.
The general consensus here is to stick with it so I'm sure I will- you guys haven't steered me wrong! Yet!

I picked up volume 1 at the San Diego Comic-Con and then found the other two on sale for 10 bucks each at Books Nippan during the mid-90's. We used to make pilgrimages to Los Angeles a few times a month to cruise the anime and comic shops.
Good times, good times...
