  1. Anybody know of a good site for getting the latest updates on the HCM-pro's, MG kits, and PG kits that are going to be released? I'm dying to know the 2008 lineup.

That Super HCM pro Zaku (char's) is pretty cool

Where do you guys pic your gundam stuff up? [i usually go through HLJ] Are the prices good?

    My siggy ;)

Just need to update a couple, but they're pretty up-to-date.

  2. There's been a rumor out there for a while that Sam Raimi may be up to directing The Hobbit. With PJ taking on Executive Producer, it's possible.

Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro has also been mentioned in the past.

  3. Yikes! Whenever I get my example, I'm still sticking with laziness and will keep it in Unicorn mode, hopefully with the exclusive Beam Gatling Guns!!

But, yeah, can't wait to see some full write-ups.

    **EDIT**

Some blogs have been starting the build-ups and my worries that the Unicorn plates would not fit snugly enough and let some Destroy-mode peek out seem unfounded:

Quick look gives the number at 20 so far......

    From an 'evolution' standpoint, it actully isn't that overwhelming: 1995 --> 2000 --> 2002 --> 2005 --> 2008

It's when you toss in all of the milk-the-mold-variants that can cause the aggrivation.

    jpf.jpgThis month's hobby mag news

MG Gundam Ver. 2.0 - Under development, multi-color mold, core system, G-Armor linkage

MG MS-06R-1A High Mobility Zaku II Ver 2.0 - Black Trinary colors, 4,725 yen

    HG Tieren Taozi

Also currently under development is the next MG after the Gundam Ver. 2.0, which is said to incorporate some kind of new technology.

Only 2 more Zaku II re-colors to go after this one.......then the F2s........

Wonder if that "next MG" will be the Bionic Woman? :p

  6. Still---if it lit up, wouldn't they have shown that by now?

    Yeah.

While I would also love to see a lit-up special edition,

previously released kits were released at the same time as the regular editions.

--- i.e. Full Burst Strike Freedom and Extreme Blast Destiny ---

So, needless to say, it appears doubtful one will show up.

  7. Other than the Jumbo Zeta, so far it's all about the Bandai Milk Machine <_< :

GFF Metal Composite Casval's RX-78 Gundam

EMSiA Zaku Real Type Color - January, 2,100 yen

Zeonography Qubeley Set EX - December, 8,190 yen

Hopefully some new MS designs will surprisingly pop-up as the HCM Pro Hi-Nu did.

  8. The CG I'd prefer is the sort used in GITS:SAC.

The style that integrated the vehicles/Tachikomas/aircraft into the scenes.

They didn't stick out and blended well with what was going on.

Some of the Gundam Evolves were kind of like it, IIRC, but it was hard to compare because there was no backgrounds to blend with.

  9. Speed sub...yeh those are fun to watch. Missed a line at the end, misspelled "Ptolemaios" (read "Butremos"), sounds like they missed "Linear catapult" in the scene of Kyrios launching, and they can't spell "Geez". <_<
Yeah, big time. Had to release a second version with some fixes.

Was good for the impatient (like me), but I'll wait until the more formal subbed versions are out to save and burn to DVD.
