Actually, the christmas ones are tame! XD I've been to 2. They're at places reserved for : First one - a philharmonic orchestra performance (with dress code and no 'wild' gestures during performance (Hope she didn't get into trouble for the last song! XD). The 2nd was like a cinema. If you want the full experience, go for her upcoming PrimVerse concert. I still have some contacts in Japan if you need help.

AFASG 2023 – this year there's no interviews (I had some interesting ones to ask May'n). This year other than the usual exhibits, a record number of guest cosplayers, there's also an all female wrestling event and we even got to try out the new Macross game - Shooting Insight. Bushiroad card game introduced ULTRAMAN! (there was a giant half torso of the kaiju Gomorrah at the lower floor) A demo on the AKIBA stage and it was good (better than the female wrestles – in my opinion) You can view the full show here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plK9QZxoB8E
AFASG 2023 concert Day 1
Surprisingly, all sections in the concert hall was seated (usually the last section is FREE standing) The first Artist that day was Asterism – an all instrumental band. Next was 'Liyuu' – a Chinese singer and cosplayer (signed on with HoriPro). Surprisingly this year's the audio was good!
NANO returns to AFASG after 8 years. Normally no video recording is allowed but she called out to the audience to record her performance and share it! Wow! Breaking the rules. For her last song she invited 4 members of the audience to join her on stage and rock with her. Another first on AFASG! May'n has competition!
Next, we have Tatsuya Kitani with band. The setup took awhile. His songs are not bad but has the distinct feel of ending abruptly....
Next which is a surprise was May'n! Usually she's last act for the day. It was quite a surprise – which others in the audience was surprised also (later met the Managing director of AFASG and he explained the setup of the bands were going longer than expected and a change in the line up)
May'n appeared with her dances and the first song for the day was 'Brain Diver'. First half was off key but eventually got back into the right one. Next was 'Get into the Abbysmare (May'n ver.)' – nicely presented. Next song was Orange. Then came the all time favourite – Diamond Crevasse! Man, I felt the tears swelling up in my eyes. I must have heard it a thousand times but it still has that effect whenever she sings it! Next she sang GLORY! She enlisted the audience's help to sing the backup part – Rise up! Rise up! We got to be the TOP of the World!
Graphite Diamond came next, another nice song and the last song which I hoped very much that she'll sing – LIES GOES ON! (OP from LIAR! LIAR!).May'n sync her movements with her 4 dancers while singing. Obviously she doing a tone down version because she's holding the microphone in one hand. I think it would have been more fun if she's using a headset mic, leaving her hands free to do the full version of the dance.
She thanked everyone and waved goodnight.
Next up is Survive! Said the Prophet. Another wait to setup the music instruments and the band began to rock! After one song....Surprise! NANO is called back on stage and she sang with the lead vocal of the group. After another few songs, my member decided to check the time (the concert is running really late) and found out that it has passed 11.20pm. We quickly grabbed our stuff and left the ongoing concert because the subway closes at 12.00pm! We managed to catch one train but then needed to change to another line. We just missed the last train by mere seconds.....But lucky for us it was just one station away.
Later in May'n posted - she commented that it was really hot under the stage lights (sitting down) + Christmas decor at Changi airport

This is why I LOVE her. Other more famous artist would NEVER post such pictures like that. But she just doesn't care!
It actually shows her as Human as we are! Whereas those that shy away or threaten to sue if you post them only to be brought down in scandals!
