  1. it's a shame to see so litle love for shin.. for me personally i think he is a great pilot have enough guts to face a variable figther with f 14 , have extreme imagination with manuvering with the vf.. and also he get both of the girl :D.. just wondering i know it's out of topic.. but did he went to the space with his vf and become a bird human?

  2. And here's an M9 Gernsback being brought out of Storage Bay 1 and going through a pre-mission maintenance check.

how many mechanical chain base that u use? and what series are those?

  3. Here's something new in the M.S.G. diorama series. Mecha transports (wheeled and treaded) using the same designs as the Mechanical Chain Bases. No idea if they're prepainted or not, but I preordered the beige one from Angolz.com

do you have the link? it look cool what scale is it?

  4. my 25S has some hairline marks on some of the same spots/hinges... i have since reinforced them w/ some superglue. it seems to be holding well after around 3+ very careful transformations. odd thing is, my 25F (w/c is older and transformed more) doesn't have any signs of these problems.

it's must be the skull! cursed of the skull leader! from focker to ozma..

  5. oh looks like a broken hinge at the base of a swing bar. Here's what I did to fix mine:

If it was a tight movement, take the chest apart. Pull the pin with pliers. (super glue for this part wont work, I've tried) Epoxy the broken pieces together and around the outside for support ). Leave it for a couple hours until epoxy is rock hard. You might want to sand the inside of the hole afterwards from the excess epoxy and to also make the hole slightly bigger so it wont be so tight (reduce stress) when you put it back together. Sand epoxy, doesn't have to

be so flush because you don't want to lose the support. Put it all back together, and be gentle transforming it. Hope that helps.

thanks for the info.. i'll try with the epoxy :D

  6. I'm not sure what I'm looking at. explaining in words what happened would be helpful.

  7. Heck yes I sooooooo want a vf-171 + all the anti vajra attachments! Can someone start a "pleAs bandai make a vf-171 thread?". Lol. They could so make good money. Sell the valk bare first. Then sell a gift set one with the beam cannon /mde/ armor. Heck they can even sellthe one with the big ass radar dome. Sell it at a smaller lremum than the vf-25 hero valk and you have a winner!!! Cmon!! Haha

The shorter f-117a inspired nose of the vf-17 doesn't look as nice to my eye but I would like one of those too.

and please add a message to bandai... if they are going to made a new mold that was as nice as the 27 we would mine to lost a few bucks for it

  8. Thank all of you guys for your comments :)

Looks like I have to find something better to spend (However I am still a big fan of VF-25S Armored Ozma's mecha design)

perhaps you could wait and hope for the v2 release.. (if that ever happen).. but for me.. that skull in the back is a piece of art that i wouldn't pass

  9. Have you seen Fantasy Island? Really, I don't know, but I am in Hong Kong and people come in all kinds of sizes and shapes, just like those gummy pilot figures. No exaggeration.

Not a joke, even hats come in sizes (not the "one size fits all" baseball cap). Motorbike helmets come in sizes too.

i know what you mean.. and although this is only a cartoon.. *or an anime*.. they were (the character) is all a pilot.. and there' is a standard posture for pilot... and i think kawamori.. use that basic standard.. *i only see luca that below standard average height.. and that was an exception because he is a genius tech.. or only played as chiby character

  10. how do you make the cockpit of the VF-25 (or 27 for that matter) look less narrow and small? enlarge the whole model and you get a long, sleek cockpit.

but unfortunately, the size is "to scale" according to offical stats.

just made centimeter longer is more than enough i think.. to catch up with the proportion with others.. i dont mind with the anime scale as long as it look proportional with other VFs

  11. The VF-1 is among the smallest of VFs, so it is not surprising that the VF-25 would look bigger at the same scale... in fact, I thought that the VF-25 should have been a tad bigger for the same scale.

yes i understand about the basic principal that vf 1 is a small airplane.. and so on.. but why is it whe vf 25 were in jet / fighter mode i always have the feeling that the plane should be bigger than this.. just take a look at the cockpit.. it's no way that it look that small compare to the other vf that made by yamato.. that's kinda annoying for me.. :(

The VF-25 doesn't just look small, it is small compared to the YF-19. Here's a set of pics I originally posted on the "Strike a Pose!" thread:

and even with all those bulky armored pack it's still look small.. come on.. they should look more like the vf 19

  12. then yamato would have made it wrong since the vf-27 is shorter than the sv-51 by 4 meters.

well i don't no about their actual size.. *does kawamori release the official weight and length of every fighter* i'm always see vf 25/27 asa a fighter that was in scale with modern sukhoi series.. *and sukhoi is a big bird* and the vf is as big as f 18/mig 29.. the yf 19 is as big as the f 15.. so it's should be bigger than this... IMHO

  13. I don't think the DX's where ever "officially" 1/60 scale where they? I checked my VF-27 box/manual and it dosen't state it anywhere. I don't have a VF-25 box handy but I don't remember it being there either.....anyone?

hmm i think.. if the vf 25//27 made by the yamato it will be as big as the sv 51.. i think bandai is kinda cheap and made it smaller then the scale :p
