Yes, it is a good design. I really wanted to like it but the horrible quality control on mine just ruins it for me.

I got my first taste of the first editions yesterday too. They are surprisingly good toys. I also bought the toon accurate custom blasters from Dr Wu and they really complete my Optimus Prime. I got an RID Megatron so Optimus could have someone to play with. While not as good as a FE toy, it'll do for now until Has/Tak ever makes a better voyager Megatron. Overall I'm very satisfied with the FE Prime toys, unlike that piece of junk MP Sideswipe/Lambor that I also got.

Saw the film this Sunday with the wife and was pleasantly surprised. I had hoped the film spent more time poking fun at older games as I thought the sugar rush sequence was far too long. Still a good film for the kids, and enough video game references to keep old geeks happy.

Just wanted to share my Macross F tatami room.
http://www.figure.fm...atami+Room.html
I'm more of a figure collector, but I have some interesting items in my collection such as original sketches and autographs and the Macross F pachinko machine!
...returns to lurking....
That is an amazing collection! You sure put a lot of thought into the layout of everything. A pachinko machine and even a capsule machine... Wow a true macross F fan.

This is hilarious and reminds me of things like the Keroro gunso combining robot model kits.

No, the chest plate doesn't lock in battroid mode. You just push it as far as it will go until it looks right.

Picked mine up about an hour ago, and have to agree, they definitely tightened this one up a good amount. Not perfect, since of course, the right shoulder joint is alreadly mostly limp, but the wings aren't flopping around.
Unfortunately... one more case of missing crotch plate. I noticed the head sitting too low in fighter, and didn't realize it until I pulled down the legs, but yeah. They just flat out forgot it. Of all the ones to forget it on too, this is the one I might actually pose in Battroid.
If anyone has a way to acquire replacement parts directly, I'd greatly appreciate help with this one. I don't think NY deals in spares, but if someone who ordered from HLJ could request the part for me, that'd be amazing. Although, I'm not sure how HLJ deals with spare parts from Bandai.
I'm open to anyone with ideas about this one, really. Otherwise, I might just steal the crotch plate from Alto or Ozma and repaint it, since those two mostly stay in fighter, or with armor.. or maybe even not, since I don't think the white plate from Alto would look bad anyway.
Sorry to hear about that Chrono. That seems like such a huge oversight. How does Bandai miss such obvious QC issues?
Recieved mine an hour ago too. So far, everything except the right shoulder feels tight. It's just going to get more loose with the sniper rifle attached. The PVC head laser suffers from some mild gashapon disease. There was minimal paint overspray on my copy near the knees but overall it looks good.

611 dollars for a paper craft book! Good god. I would have a heart attack building that since any small mistake would be catastrophic.
By the way, Laputa for me with Nausicaa a close second. Laputa was the first movie I ever saw when I was a wee lad in Hong Kong.

Slowly building up the VF-1S Boldozaa Special theme... strike cannon blast and fast pack missiles (adding 2 more missiles tomorrow).
Puuroto caltchaaaaaaa! (Bodolzaa's face melts)

You know, that's pretty impressive for a homemade itano circus.

Sweet. Once I get the EX gear, that 171 is never going to be naked again.

Nice collection Benson. It has definitely grown since last I remember.

I bought that from Scandanavian designs. http://www.scandinaviandesigns.com/dining/displayunits/item/2238

Hi all,
I have decided to keep my VF-25F renewal in the super parts forever so I'm letting go of my armor set. Everything is in perfect condition since I only placed it on my VF-25F battroid once and promplty took it all off. The box, paper work, and outer sleeve box are all included and in good condition. 170 shipped takes it as that is what I paid. Thanks!

Nice collection of gunpla Kicker. How the heck do you find the time to paint all those models between running a business, doing 1/6 scale batman customs. and keeping up with Macross toys? They're not even simple kits either. You got a few PG scale kits that were obviously professionally airbrushed with pre/post shading. Man, those look good, especially the PG aile strike and PG MK-II.
I used to airbrush models but between work, keeping up with TF's and Macross, and guitar I have zero time to paint kits...I'm just content with snapping a few unicorn kits together and flat coating them these days.

Wow, that toy is oozing old school funk. Nice find.

Your collection looks great Scream Man. I really like your extensive Kamen rider collection. That hyper zector kabuto looks badass.

Good job on the review Veef. You obviously put a lot of effort into the writing and the pictures. Much appreciated

That is a HUGE fleet. I know someone else on this board that has them all and seeing them in ALL in person is just awesome.

Gwah! My eyes!

The metal composite line is dead? I hope that's not true. I mean the GMMC gundam the origin version just came out last year. Oh well, better get busy building an MG banshee.

What? Blasphemy! Just ask your wife for an advance on your holiday goodies! Waiting two months is too long to handle MP 10. That toy just rocks.
