Was thinking on whether to stick to NY or Locushk after calculating the shipping charges, locus HK offers cheaper shipping to my location! But i am pending for HKcollectibles fotr their offers on this valkyrie.

I hate myself for getting the valkyries.

I think basing on the current rarity of VF-4G, it will warranty an overwhelming sale that will inccur more issues of different schemes.

but however i think most of us will be looking forward to the Hikaru custom as seen in FB2012.

Plus with the improve articulation and the complex transformation of the vAlkyrie, price will not be drop so easily, given the rarity and the complex transformation and also the articulation capability.

it's a valkyrie i think will comes with a heavy price tag, but if we do not get it at initial release, i reckon it be an exponential price increase with the decreasing stock in the market.

Come to speak of which, was the valkyrie cockpit transformation every decribe in picture?

I reckon it is similar to YF-19, but then again maybe a bit different.

Honestly, I think all the profit that NY makes on these is through shipping charges.... It comes out to like 399 or so shipped.

I agree with you on that , but it doesn't makes business sense to just earn on shipping..

And NY isn't serving as a "proxy"?....Since this valk is "only available as an online exclusive directly from the Yamato Webshop".......a proxy is the only way to go if you are outside of Japan........

Hey jvmacross, I have approached quite a few proxy buyers, they are charging 30,000 to 35,000 yen for this item, I believe no shop will want to make zero profit from selling.. thus I have reasons to believe that NY has some commercial dealing with yamato.

I don't deny they are proxy buyers though.

But I just care abt the price and whether can they secure the valkyrie for me.

That's all that matters.

I agree with you, since this is limited, the sellers might have to go through proxy to secure the valkyrie.

I changed my vote too, i figured that NY should be very happy with the overwhelming orders of VF-4G i supposed, and if they have distributor license from Yamato, they make a decent earning too.

Anyways i supposed most who could be able to purchase one valk at least.

This is the best thing we can expect.

So I'm changing my vote to I'll pay anything. I just pre ordered mine, and I hope everything goes smooth with the retailer.

for those who are still deciding whether to buy the valkyrie, some data for your reference based on my own research...

1.) HK shops only offer after release which maybe cheaper depends, i personally feel since this is limited, it might be hard to say.

2.) Some HK shops offer preorders but i sometimes feel insecure about it personally.

3.) Not all Japanese shops offer preorders as this is a web limited edition, if you can find one, it's good for you.

In conclusion, i personally feel that for this valkyrie, it'd be wiser to grab first ( same price as Yamato web.) and bitch about the sky high pricing later, at least you be having this exotic valkyrie in hand when ya complain, it beats drooling at other members pictures of the valkyrie.

But yet again, i suggest to get it while it last, and NY is subjected to change their prices when stock runs low.

It all depends on how much you want it, and how much you can spare to get this bird.

i preodered from NY once i saw the preorders open! at least i know it be more or less confirmed.

anyways i choose the preorder payment, it is more easier for my wallet this way.
