  1. Behold! A Lego Valkyrie, it comes with instructions and parts for you to purchase.
  2. I'd like to apologise for using the term "Kraut". I should have realised that some people may take offence to it. And now for something compleatly different. SkullLeaderVF-X, here is a link to a site that has a great comparison between the Book and Movie versions of Starship Troopers. ChrisW's Thoughts on Starship Troopers.
  3. Here are some Guilty Pleasure movies I like, and some I loathe. Last Starfighter: Every young man's non-erotic fantasy. Play video games and become the sole defender of an entire planet. Krauts in Space (Starship Troopers the Movie): The entire movie reeked of Nazi symbolism and it basicly used the book as Toilet Paper, but it's as funny as it is absurd. Clockwork Orange: I know it's not SF, but it takes place in the future. See a badass thug whoop ass whist "Singin' in The Rain". Wing Commander the Movie: Freddy and Shaggy from Scooby Doo as Maverick and Maniac from the Wing Commander games (played by Mark Hammil and Tom "Biff Tannen" Wilson respectivly)? It's like having Cheech and Chong play Hikaru and Roy. But still, it was a fun movie. Star Wars I: Ben and Qui Gon vs. Darth Maul. Coolness.
  4. There's one thing that peeves me about this entire thing. HG claims to have the rights to ALL things Macross, hence all the confusion. OK, HG made an ADAPTATION of Macross, they did not create Macross in it's entirety. It's like Peter Jackson claiming ownership of all things Lord of The Rings. If you did not make it, it's not entirely yours. Therefore, HG should have no say in future domestic releases of Macross or it's sequels (and Prequel). If only they would realise this simple fact.
  5. I've noticed that there is no 1/72 scale Variable Super (or Strike) Valkyrie from Bandai. However, Hasegawa has the (non-Variable) Strike Valkyrie in said scale. So I was wondering; Is it possible to mount the FAST Packs from a Hasegawa Strike Valkyrie upon a Bandai Variable Valkyrie kit?
  6. What? I don't remember that OK, maybe it was NOT the transformation that did the poor bastard in. Poor Bastard bought it when Minmay sings Do You Remember Love?. There is a crowd fleeing the civillian section, A chunk of debris falls and chops Mr. Bastard's head off.
  7. That guy who got decapitated during the Macross' transformation, Roy's death, and Bodolza's (all in DYRL). PS: PROTOCULTURE!!!
  8. I just keep thinking of the South Park movie whenever some A**hole decides to place the blame for stuff like murders and other infamous crimes on pop culture and not on the guy who pulled the trigger. Here's my take on there convoluted thinking... PS: BLAME CANADA!
  9. The competition between the two companies in Macross Plus parallels a competition for the US Military. What was this competition?
  10. Obviously Japanese parents are less likely to blame Canada then their American counterparts. OH NO! You said the "P" word.
  11. I belive it's Yokohama.
  12. REBUTAL TIME!!! 0079: Amuro was just a boy, not yet a man, when he was thrust into the flames of war. He does get better. Also, just because the Animation is a little dated does not determine it's quality. Zeta: There IS Indeed a story to Zeta. I suggest you give it a second chance. ZZ: Your assesment of ZZ is one of the few I agree with. Char's Counterattack: Slow? Quite the opposite. 0080: Yes others do love it. Why? Because we appreciate the story. 0083: Ditto. Wing: Ditto. In conclusion, Although I respect your opinions, I must say that your post on Gundam is hypocrytical and filled with ignorant remarks (Even More so your conclusion). Sieg Zeon.
  13. Then it shall be called "Robotech: The Other Movie".
  14. I'm thinking of getting that Mod once it's done and when I find a copy of Prophecy Gold (a box set with Secret Ops and the only way to get the full version I think). I wonder if they're going to do a Macross Mod of Wing Commanders 1-4.
  15. I hope it's on what happened to the UNS Megaroad (unlikely at it may be).
  16. Here's what I think of the entire HG licence thing. A press conference held by Harmony Gold.
  17. I am a Modeling fan whos interested in building a VF-1S Valkyrie. I was thinking of doing the1/72 scale Variable VF-1S from Bandai. I don't know what to expect with a Variable Fighter, so I'd like to know the pros and con of Variable model Kits before going off and buying the model.
  18. Correct Commander McBride. Here's another one. Which Episode of Bubblegum Crisis was Priss supposed to die in? Please give both the Episode number and name.
  19. Again, here's my question: Which MS Pilot in Gundam used a unicorn as his personal sigil? Also why did he choose the Unicorn? And finally, name 1 MS he piloted.
  20. I was thinking about the relationship between the Zentradi, the Protoculture, and the Marduk. My theory is that the Protoculture created them first and gave them a limited groking of culture (ie useing music to "pump up" their warriors). Later on, the Marduk cast off the shackles of Protoculture rule. After that the Protoculture created the Zentradi we all know and love without any groking of culture to control them more easily. What do you think? Now I know that Kawamori san has disowened Macross II and has declared it Non-Canon, but it's just something I was thinking of.
  21. I'm sure it was Tenneth A. Jung. Check the link below. Ace Pilots of The One Year War Did you mean Zeon? If so, the answer is Brennev Auggs.
  22. I think you need to start your own thread because this is an opinionated question and not a Q&A-type question. This thread is only for Q&A and not for debate. Thank you. Come again. My bad, sorry. Here's a true question: Other than cosmetic differences, what are the differences between the VF-1J, A, and S Valkyries?
  23. The answer is Tenneth A. Jung I belive. Here's my question: Which MS Pilot in Gundam used a unicorn as his personal sigil? Also why did he choose the Unicorn?
  24. Greetings, this is my first post here at Macross World. Anyway, I was thinking about the relationship between the Zentradi, the Protoculture, and the Marduk.
