I havent seen all of Macross 7 ,i had the series,watched 3 eps and that was enough.

I also hadnt seen Flashback 2012 ,so today i made a effort and i got it and watched it and I Love it! like a minmay concert and with misa commanding the megaroad01 and hikaru pointing the way was really nice.

thats what i tend to do,usually when i get ready for bed,watch an episode,go to sleep, have crazy dreams.

i have it on 360 and every time i enter 'assistance; mode i think how awesome it would be to be a craft from macross.

yeah there just is too much good stuff, If i am short on time and need a fix lol,i usually watch the final eps of frontier or 'Friendly fire' because i reckon that ep is awesome, and from the SDF tv i usually watch 'love drifts away' ,some good Misa eps or some eps with my fav zentradi kamjin Kravshera.

the movies tho,i have to watch from start to finish,i cant watch bits.

looks cool,but not something you'd wear just out and about, looks like something you wear in a pit-stop or like Optimator88 said when snowboarding lol, which i would wear it for that aswell, I like the back of the jacket the best,looks cool.

Hmmm...I wish I say certain scenes, but I've never been one for picking and choosing. If I sit down to watch a movie or series, I watch ALL of it, no skipping or fast-forwarding (which is the main reason I never watch porn).

But I love the final episode of every Macross series. Yes, even Zero.

I completely agree, Im one that likes to sit down and watch all of it.

of course i have favorite episodes tho,I always just come back and watch from the start to finish,final eps are always full of win.

one part i do really like tho in macross frontier,is when the battle-galaxy launches ghosts and that one ghost pauses infront of some randoms valk before opening up on it.

Just a general inquiry, How often do you watch the macross tv series? which ever one,or say,the movies DYRL,Zero,II,plus?

I usually watch thru Macross TV once a year,usually as i sit in bed i watch a few eps. I also watch 'Macross plus' and Zero every once and a while. and the episode 'Friendly fire' is the episode i watch most from Macross Frontier.

I add my vote for the punching bag known as Paul Verhoven for Starship Troopers. Okay, so he didn't like the book or the ideas in the book, he didn't like Heinlien - as I recall Verhoven didn't even read the book! - blah,blah,blah... That sounds like the perfect reasons to NOT make the damn movie, but nooooo, instead he went ahead and made the movie and dumped used food all over a much beloved SF military classic. Not to mention that he didn't even include the powered armor. WTF?! When I was in the 82nd Airborne Div we passed Starship Troopers from one paratrooper to the next to read. It was like reading about us in the future and old Verhoven just trashed the story. I only hope somebody remakes it as it was ment to be made.

I think in the 'making of' they said they wanted to include the power armour in starship troopers but couldnt find a place for it, I enjoyed the film it was good gory fun,even if it did stray from the book i veiwed it as an independent piece, if you want power armour you could always watch Starship Troopers 3 : Marauder, lol Rico makes a comeback.

as for the topic, i say Paul W. Anderson and Uwe boll., Anderson isnt a bad director but his scripts suck ass,and it brings down his movies. Uwe..well everything he does is crap,from editing,camera angles and script work.

Im in the process of applying for a new airline job that hasnt got weekend work so,i hope to the gods there is another next year becuase i wont have anything to hold me back from coming.

Trek surpassing Star Wars would be like Macross surpassing Gundam.

trek is good,but its not gonna beat the wars,and macross is miles better then gundam,imo,gundam is bit boring.

just returned from seeing it, I must say, as a person that doesnt really follow 'trek ,ive only seen a few of the movies and the odd episode of DS9, I really enjoyed it,Excellent film! the effects where amazing,Very good sense of scale in the ship sizes in space,acting was great. Overall well worth the watch,i would watch it again gladly. 4/5.
