I'll have to sticker mine up and take some pics, mine looks pretty good, and I was impressed that the arms don't have the flopiness of the Blue 6H. They actually made an improvement!

Haha, who are these guys to say something looks right or not, they should have the line-art. It can't look any more right than that, duh.

I'd love to learn about how those joints (knee, elbow, etc...).

Metal Warriors, now there's a fun game I didn't think anyone else knew about!

Got my Red Alpha today, no QC problems on mine. Not much else to say, I like it!
How does Rook's compare to Scott's Blue alpha in terms of QC, joint stiffness, and overall asthetics? Does it look like Toynami improved on it or not?
Seem exactly the same to me.

I think it's pretty cool. Much more my taste than say Gundam Wing or Gundam Seed.

Actually, it looks like its a HL1 mod that uses HL2 source stuff, so you might be able to play it if HL1 plays well on your PC.

Amazing game! Wow! The beginning is totally sweet, no time to admire the scenery, it's a chase almost from the get go!

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for the differences.

Ah, I dunno. Ridicule me for the console game I am if you must, but I'm going to hold out and see if Microsoft ports it to Xbox like they did with Counterstrike, just like I'm waiting for the Xbox version of Doom. I mean, I don't mind a PC game here and there, but I prefer stuff like Neverwinter Nights on PC. I'm a console gamer first and foremost.
Ridiculed!

I bought the Silver package weeks ago. I seriously can't wait to play this, along with Metal Gear Solid 3 this week, wh0000t!

detatchable? There going to be part swapping needed for this?
Only if you want to add a Hasegawa cockpit like I am. I could probably make it non detatchable, but I don't mind doing it this way, and I think it will look better.

Wow that is some excellent progress! I'm thinking something like a spring or hinge for gerwalk so that the front can stay locked while the rear rises... I dunno, I really hate the stepped approach.
Definately some more articulation in the knees so that we can get a classic Gerwalk ostrich like stance...
I have so much articulation now, the nose can touch the ground I will have to think about the middle section in gerwalk mode. It would be nice to have it stay down in the front and raised in the rear like the lineart.

i know this is a real horrid bit of work but if you make the leg/knee joint like the vf-2ss bandai model it could give you the same effect but look less stick like
I just looked at my VF-2SS. That's quite a bit of engineering in the leg. It will only support about the same amount of weight though.
I would like to cover it up with an accordian type rubber like this lineart. Anyone have any ideas???

Appleseed the Movie
in Anime or Science Fiction

Beautiful movie, but it didn't draw me in character wise (also, didn't like how Hitomi and Deunan's faces looked, everyone else was ok though). Still, worth it to see for the visuals and action.
