This is making me want to step away from the 1/48's and get in on the 1/60's.

Added myself as well, the 3rd VA member to check in. Front Royal is now represented!
Sup all, I'm VF-15 Banshee and I could not add myself to the map. Can't find that edit button. In any case, I've been hanging out a lot on the MechaTalk forums and have decided to expand my horizons.
You need to log into google to be able to edit the map. And welcome to MW.

Wow...
So far above and beyond. Just fantastic.

That is entirely the reason why I stopped buying it, there is only so many Leopard or Abraham's tanks etc I really want to see. Its only redeaming factor was the how to guides but they are not as common as they once were. You also need to get in touch with Sci Fi and Fantasy Modeller. It's a British publication but they do regularly do stuff from over seas, and obviously dont do that many Tanks
Surprisingly enough I own a few copies.
What we need is more people like PetarB to start the movement.
¡Viva la revolución de ciencia ficción!

Time & effort? The tape doesn't apply itself
QFT, good point.

would simple tripod setup be ok?
basically sticks with skids on the bottom...
Don't see why not, I have the 1/72 version and that's the type of landing gear I always pictured it having. Easy enough to add detail to as well. You'll probably want the opinion of someone on the purchase list though, seeing as how I'm not there (yet).
/Really interested now that this is getting the additional two details of gear and a cockpit. Just need to figure out if I can...

i'm stumped on what to do for landing gear. any ideas?
Dunno, maybe something skid like, Viperish?
If you need detailed pictures of various types of landing gear, let me know. I took a bunch of hi-res photos of many of the planes on display at the new(er) Smithsonian a while back.

First trailer to be at the beginning of the last Potter movie.
I heard the trailer was around a minute twenty or so.

Freaking amazing!
I've said this to you before but you got to send this in to Fine Scale Magazine. Entirely too much WW2 armor and aircraft in there, it's time to show them some awesome Sci-Fi modelling!
/Not to mention you get an opportunity to plug a certain company in your description...
-
Any chance you can post a bigger pic of the Angel Bird Custom?
-
I'm in for a few of these as well!

The huddled masses are curious, what was the final decision?

I love watching the progression of this project and I'm not even buying one!! You lucky owners have got one hell of an exclusive model on your hands, enjoy.
Also, the more this progresses and the closer it comes to completion then the sooner the wild and rampant speculation of the next project will start...
1 Lot of GFF Gundam Sentinel Figures
in For Sale & Trade
Posted
Seems like a lot of figures for a pretty damn low price. Good luck with the sale, hate to see your so far perfect closet cleaning get tarnished by this one lot.
If it does come to pass that they there's no taker, I've found that women's shelters are always happy to get their hands on toys. A lot of times the guests there arrive with kids in tow and only the clothes on their backs. They may not want them because of the small parts, but you never know. Pretty freaking high end donation, but maybe it's a tax write-off as well?
Again, good luck!
