I think we need to see what panel 4 shows. There's something going on there that looks...different.

Very, very nice Lolicon! You do some fine work on your toys.
I just discovered a little gotcha on my VF-0S toy that I don't know if I've seen posted before. Firstly, the head will sit nicely nestled under the fuselage if the neck piece is rotated the correct way. If it's backwards, you get green goggles staring out. Get it right and it sits in with only the black part of the "hat" sitting out. Secondly, don't try to close the landing gear on the legs with the feet extended - there seems to be something in the mechanism that fouls on the strut part of the gear and it'll bend. it's the only plastic part of the gear leg so it should bend back but be careful.

Love the stop sign!
So, do the scout parts fit into the regular grunt pod or is the pod part a significant change? Wondering if there's a "Scout upgrade" set available for the base Regult. -
Nice work! I've got one of these in the stash that I'm hoping to build soon. The darker tones are challenging to make look "real" but that's what I'm going to go for. Can't wait to see how you get on.

Wow, you're so.....DC!

And the Corsair II mounted them along the sides of the forward fuselage.
Can't seem to link images anymore so that URL will show an image search result. "Forward" is a misleading term here I now think. It's technically still under the wing. But my point is that here have been some novel approaches to mounting missiles in more than a handful of aircraft over the years.
Agreed, the Jaguar and Lightening over-the-wing options are especially unique. -
Rivets or not, that is VERY cool! You're a lucky guy to be getting this done up the way it is.
-
And still so expensive... I know it's a lot of plastic though.

Email on its way. Hopefully these are helpful.

Got a few shots but it'll be a good 10 hours before I can process them. Sleep beckons and I must answer.
I forgot I'd panel lined this valk, too. It's subtle and may be something I can hide in post processing.
-
To be fair though, the Yam-Cadia gets this wrong too. Though in defense, you can at least change the angles on all the wings and stabilisers to make it work.

Hey, those are fantastic for an $80 cell phone! I'll see what I can do with my setup though. I need an excuse to use it for something like this, ever since my son started using it for he Lego stop motion ipad movies (which are great fun, by the way).
The Hikki 1J is literally the only item on that list that I have. I have 2 VF-1 assembly kits but no other Yamato boxes at all. I think the valk is still in it after a move too, so it's just begging to be used 'for the greater good' on Anymoon, right?
-
I'm happy to provide some shots of the Hikaru 1J super box too Jenius. Don't want to rob you of the assist though, Shizuka.
I have a softbox and lighting tent that should make getting good shots pretty simple. Happy to at least give it a shot. Heh...photography humour...

Pretty good Bokeh for a camera phone.
Sucked in! I could have sworn it was one of your wide angle primes!

T-Rex designed a whole new pilot figure for Arcadia when they redesigned the VF-0, and I daresay the pilot's a lot more proportionally accurate:
Yamato's figures always had exaggerated heads with massive helmets, which unfortunately means the new Arcadia Roy figure doesn't match the look of other pilots in the line.
Thanks Tekering - that's what I was missing, the comparison between the old and new and you're spot on about the proportions. I think it looks much better seeing it in this last picture. The angle of the one I commented on before just made the fig look like a blob.
-
Very nice! I gotta say though, what happened to Roy? I think the Yammie looks way better as far as the pilot fig goes. That's gotta be a first, given how this is usually a re-used piece. Correct?
-
That beautiful Bokeh...

"Warning: Hot Air" on an air brake? Not sure that's all that logical. Certainly a cool looking sculpt but definitely not my kind of thing.
-
Same here. I think it was a common issue.

You gotta have a look at Spanner's collection again to see that this is much more "herd thinning" than culling. At least I hope so...

I am in shock! Shock, man...
Good luck with your sale. Wish I was in a position to help by offering a new home for some of these.
Buy with confidence, people. Very good seller and a great guy, too! -

Maybe you were implying this, but according to this article, the colour scheme was specifically chosen as a nod to Genesis Climber Mospeada. Wow!
