Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia 21st Dec 2025. Spent the entire day attending his events and even after the movie, we had a LIVE Q n A session after the movie was over. Much better reception than in Singapore. We went for dinner and when we left after dinner - he was eating in the same restaurant! May'n had a small part in the movie. In the credits - announcer's voice at one scene.

The creator of Macross. Shoji Kawamori has enlisted May'n to voice one of the characters in his new film Labryinth (Meikyu Shiori) World Premier in January 2026. Among those who are included are many from Frontier and Delta! For those in Malaysia we guys get to watch it first - on 21st Dec 2025

AFASG2025 - 28th to 30th Nov 2025 - 3rd day Concert As we entered, we were handed a pair of styrofoam light sticks with the words Crunchy Roll printed on it - I had forgotten to bring my own. For the 1st time you can record the artist's performances except for Isekaijouch, Claris and May'n! And the main sponsor was Crunchy Roll! I suspect other than the mentioned 3, they rest are from the sponsors. One of our members texted us that Shoji Kawamori (creator of Macross) was sitting in the same row as he was but on the sides The 1st artists for today 30th Nov 2025 was Hachijoi-P (a DJ), He even had guest artist - The Supaas (2 girls - vocal and guitar) and 5 singer guys (I didn't catch the name). Next is ALI, at first I thought that was the name of the singer but it turned out to be a group - Alien Liberation International! They're 2 vocals (1 female), one trumpet, one sax, female bass and drummer. Their music is pretty jazzy, emphasis on instruments and a lot of F words! Followed by Wednesday Campenella. Consist of a guy (DJ) and a female vocalist. - dressed in loli clothing. She sang for Chibi Godzilla Raids Again (a 3 min sketch series you can find on Youtube). The Godzilla mascot was there dancing to the tune. Around this time Shoji Kawamori had left the concert hall. Starting now, no recoding is allowed. A Vtuber - Isekaijoucho came on stage or rather on screen! But I think I prefer KAF. Please don't kill me if there are Isekaijoucho fans here! Artist no.6 was Claris! Though not a fan, one song suddenly jumped at me - I have this song in my playlist. The guy next to me was a big fan but when I asked him, he also couldn't remember it. On the next day my friend looked it up and the irony of it all was the song was called IRONY! As usual, May'n was the last artist for the day. She was dressed in lacy black and flanked by 2 dancers on each side. The first song was CHASE THE WORLD. It sounded a little different from the one I'm used to. There's less instruments in the soundtrack. Then I remembered she had re-recorded some songs under the album TWENTY//NEXT. She was off key in the beginning of the song. Song no. 2 was LIES GOES ON. Everyone was going crazy at this point. She didn't do most of the dance moves and only concentrated on the vocals. Song no. 3 was SCARLETT BALLAD, also the re-recorded ver. This was a completely new song - not even debut in Japan! Specially performed LIVE for AFASG! The 3rd song from Azure Lane - GENESIS/DESTINY! Wow! What a privilege! Song no. 5 was GRAPHITE/DIAMOND from Azure Lane. Another crowd favourite. So far all the songs have been hits! Around this time I noticed someone on the far end a few rows behind us - it was Shoji Kawamori! He had returned to watch fellow Macross star perform! I totally lost it in the next song! - NORTHERN CROSS! A wave of emotion washed over me as she sang the song. I felt so proud to be a Macross fan. I was not alone as the whole concert hall erupted in cheers. After the song ended, I was like a wolf howling at full moon! XD. A few years ago I reported that someone in the audience was high and howling away and we all laughed. Well, this year it was ME! XD Next was Diamond Crevasse! It was a sweet, sweet evening. Just like the previous song, it was PERFECTION! There was a guy in front of me and he looked like he was in a trance! A short break before the last song. She told us in English that this year was her 20th year in showbiz and she'll continue to bring us the best songs to the future. It felt that there was something else that she wanted to tell us by she had forgotten... Song no. 8, as I predicted - THE SEA HAS DREAMS - 2nd song from the AZURE Lane series. Her dancers had returned and lined up behind her as the song begin and swung side to side as the song went on. I didn't immediately like this song when it came out, it took quite a few listen before I finally warmed up to it. After the song ended, she with her dancers lined up and customary bow before leaving the stage. With that the concert ended. We left fully satisfied. Song list 1.
