  3. Not sure if this was discussed earlier, but wanted to ask of anyone has a PO with Nippon for the 1st batch release of strike parts and is still waiting for it to be shipped. I preordered this thing like a year ago. When 1st batch was released last year and I didn't get shipping notification, thought ok, guess I can wait till 2nd release. Now 2nd release has come and gone, still no shipping notification. Anyone in the same boat? I've opened a ticket with Nippon but no response so far. Any info here would be appreciated.
  4. I got an update from Nippon and unfortunately, my SV-51 has the defect. Here's what Nippon said: Date: 2019-09-20 11:16:20 Name: Emi Message: Hello Thank you for your message and your accepting the inspection. We checked the item (macross zero) in your order and it had defective parts. We will ask the maker to replace a correct item. We will send your parcel as soon as possible after the arrival of the product. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please don't hesitate to send another message if you need anything else. Kind Regards Nippon-yasan.com Customer Service I must say, I'm pretty happy with their response.
  5. I ordered from nippon and because I have other items on pre-order, my SV51 has not shipped yet. I created a ticket asking them to check to make sure my item is ok before they ship and this is the response I got: Thank you for your message We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the defective parts. We can inspect the product if the item has not been shipped yet. When we find the defective parts by the inspection, we will require the maker to resend the correct item, In these case, please kindly understand that it is possible that it takes a time for the replacement and that you will receive the item in an opened box.We would like to apologize again on behalf of the manufacturer. Please rest assured we will do our very best to have the proper parts delivered to you as quickly as possible. Please don't hesitate to send another message if you need anything else. Kind Regards Nippon-yasan.com Customer Service This sounds pretty reasonable.
  6. I read the top of their home page. Seems like they revamped their site. All I had to do was login and now everything works normally.
  7. anyone know what's wrong with amiami.com (their global site)? amiami.jp seems to work fine. amiami.com shows the items but when you click on it, it says "item not found" for everything.

    Thanks for the response Sandman. I got a response from them after opening a ticket with them regarding my order. Their response: " Hello Thank you for your purchase We are contacting you regarding this order Unfortunately this order is bigger then expected therefore we will have to ask you for additional shipping An invoice will be sent out to you via paypal We apologize for the inconvenience Kind Regards " ​I've gotten this before for pre-order items and can kind of understand because they may not know exactly how much the item weighs. ​However, this time, all my items were marked as in stock. (2 max, 3 monsters). Anyone else have this experience with NY for in-stock items? I paid the extra fee and "magically", the item shipped almost immediately. Shady business practices......

    I'm in a similar situation. I selected SAL during preorder (2 Roy's, each with stand) and was charged 22 for shipping. I got an email about 3 weeks ago asking me for $25 more for shipping. I opened a ticket asking why my shipping has more than doubled. Requested for shipping weight also. Now it's 3 weeks later and all I got from them so far is "box is bigger than expected so we need more money". Anyone know what the shipping for 2 Roy's with stand should cost when using SAL?
