Customising DX VF-31

Saw these on the internet. I'm very sure that this is the DX VF-31J. Does anyone here know or try to give it a custom paint job? The VF-31 cannot be disassembled as completely as the VF-25. I tried disassembled mine before and it did not go well. Many parts are glued together. Any comment and experience sharing are greatly appreciated.

That's not the DX VF-31 toy.

You can tell by comparing the shape of the hinges on the tail fins and the canards.

I'm pretty sure it's the Bandai 1/72 scale model kit.

Ah, that explains he’s able to give it a custom paint job. I completely forgot about the 1/72 model kit after all these years.
