Sorry for my ignorance, but is this a new thing? Or is it a rebroadcast of a 30 year old radio drama starring Macross 7 characters?

It is a brand new story, a three parter. The first part dropped today. 
 

I believe it’s going to be an overall 30 minute story that will lead into the new Fire Bomber single.
