maybe you guys can get me oriented to the newest valks out there. I've done some research regarding the VF-1A Max and VF-1A low vis. What is confusing me is how they compare to the new VF-1S Hikaru in regards to fixes. The VF-1A Max had a couple of fixes like the nose cone, etc. My question is does the new VF-1S Hikaru have these same fixes as the VF-1A Max? I personally don't want to buy anything that will have small problems that make a big difference. Your help would be much appreciated.

Yes, it has all of the fixes that the Max and Low-Vis 1/48's had.

Welcome aboard, drummer. Basically, the only 1/48 Yamato Valks out there without the "fixes" are the orginal releases of the VF-1A Hikaru and the VF-1S Roy...both of which have been reissued and released in Japan with the "fixes." They should find there way stateside in the next couple of weeks.
