lord_breetai Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 try putting them in the same directory as your file and give them the same file name so if it's a sub file for MacrossF01.avi then name the sub file MacrossF01.ass and most players will pick it up... of course you could use a program like mencoder (command line) or virtual dub (gui) to hard-encode the subs onto the file... but that method should work. and yes this is the wrong forum.

I would like to create a program who's file extension was .douchebag or .orgasm There was a program called substation alpha which was used for creating subs it made .ssa ... newer versions are called advanced substation or .ass And remember whe watch a show where the ruling gov decied that ASS-1 was a great name to call an alien ship before rebuilding it.
