Bandai kits are great and all but in terms of detail and representation they have nothing on Hasegawa. I would put Hasegawa's Macross kits against anything Bandai has to offer anytime. Even "Perfect Grade", as impressive as it is, places a much higher premium on toy-features like posability than it does on simple detail quality. It's possible that it would sell better than Hasegawa's stuff if it happened, but it's not something I'm especially hoping for. I'd much rather see Hasegawa keep up their fine work.
