On one hand its cool to use all these different mecha, on the other hand the lock-on system is absolutely broken and at times makes the game unecessarily difficult to the point of frustration. Ultimately it's difficult to get your mecha to do exactly what you want it to because of the focus on the lock-on system which can be so difficult to control.
