I pretty much know nothing about the 1/48s but how can you tell the diffrence between the Do You Remember Love VF-1S 1/48 HIKARU first release and the reissue? Is there a diffrence in the packaging as well? Also is the reissue out if not when will it be out?

I don't think there is a 1/48 scale Yamato VF-1J DYRL Hikaru. Maybe you are referring to the VF-1A or the VF-1S?

Yep that was a typo I mean the VF-1S (black and red one).

Well, we'll let you know when they arrive in February. AFAIK, the box is the same but I have no idea if it's gonna be comparable to the 1st release Hikaru, or it will be more like the latest Roy 1/48 release (pretty darn good release except for crooked skulls). The 1st edition 1S Hikaru had a gummy pilot, pretty good QC, but a loose airbrake.
