  3. i will need 2 nos of hinges. both my vf-1s shoulders are gone...hopefully bro graham will available asap...
  4. when i received my vf-0s, i found out the broken hinge. took photo n email hlj. hlj took 18 days to get the replacement part, n another 20 days to reach my doorstep via SAL. when i received tis first replacement part, as i mentioned earlier, i play with it a while BEFORE replace with the broken hinge, i found tat the replacement hinge crack oso. so again i email hlj.

UPDATE ON VF-1S version 2 SHOULDER receive email from HLJ Customer Service Representive: "...Yamato cannot sell those parts....Sorry!..." however: "...We have received your parts request and are processing it now. As soon as we hear anything back from the manufacturer, we will pass that information along to you and/or ship your parts..." shoulder hinge broke, give u a replacement. u 1 2 buy xtra part? yamato dun sell.

  7. sori, i thought tat is the screw tat need to be loosen, as tat tight screw is the one which make the shoulder difficult to 'go over' the block/tab. arm was not attached when i moved the hinge, as i want to try if the 'pin holder' will break up even there is no loading/stress. anyway, i m getting some shoulder (hinge) to try again.

  10. hi, after i found out my vf-1s shoulder broke, i get a replacement part from HLJ. HLJ sent me the replacement part. before i carry out the 'mini surgery', i decided to play with the part a while. as u c, the part act like a hinge. however, after a few swing, a crackline shows up. my conclusion is tat there is a problem with the material+ pin. even u loosen the screw to the main body, it is just a matter of time before the part break off...

  12. ok. get the replacement part from hlj today. so, before i replace the shoulder plate, i play with it a while...just a few swing...a crack appear... i think is the material + pin problem. even u loosen the screw at the main body, it wouldnt help much...it it just a matter of time.
  13. get my valk from HLJ on august.has a crack plate which is connected to the right shoulder. complaint to the HLJ n they sent replacement part via SAL. ok. get the replacement part today. so, before i replace the shoulder plate, i play with it a while...just a few swing...the crack appear... i think is the material + pin problem. even u loosen the screw at the main body, it would help much...just a matter of time.

  15. hi, i m going to construct a diorama for the latest yamato 1/60 vf-1s super strike, sv-51 and vf-0s below is my material: 1) kotobukiya chain base No. 4,6,9,10 <- these are what i can get at the moment. 2) Ground crews. <- these make me headaches. which scale of crew should i use? 1/72 or 1/48? any guys tried out posing them with the valks? hope to hear from ur guys soon.
