umm weird. somehow it processed 2 orders for me so I have two separate orders in my order history. they probably will cancel me out so heads up, 1 more is coming down the pike!
-
so can anyone confirm if HLJ had theirs up at all yet?
-
NY just e-mailed me, for retail-price you're only allowed one per. For the marked up you can buy unlimited..... lol.....
Might be another retail alto coming up in a bit on NY

mayb that was the one you saw in that small window a few minutes ago

I'm not even sure if South Korea carries a lot of stuff from Japan.. let alone Macross stuff. Maybe you should ask your buddy to check out the anime figurine and macross toy scenes at the hobby shops over there.
Gundam Kits never seem to have this issue (neither does Macross kits). But their other toys of popular franchises tend to have this kinda results too.
To name a few I've encountered:-
1. Tiger and Bunner - both Wild Tiger and Banarby were sold out instantly before they were even available
2. SH Figurarts - Ironman and War Machine - saw both up for a very brief few minutes, gone by next refresh.
Some of their other Robot Damashiis tend to sell out fairly quickly too, along with their Metal Figuration Gundam figures.
I think part of the problem is how limited in quantity Bandai gives to shops like Amiami
who do they give it all to then? local shops? also does anyone know if amazon japan sells renewals? I order all my transformers from them and send it to a buddy in japan
-
Never. Ive never seen their gundam stuff sell out this fast.
I didn't think so. What little gundam toys I've bought are usually readily available. I wonder what their rationale is for producing so little renewals. They could be making way more money

does this crap happen with other Bandai products like their gundam stuff?
-
does hlj limit to 1 per customer?
-
has ami ami ever re-opened orders on renewals? like if they catch people trying to make multiple orders...
-
Someone actually saw the "add to cart" button at HLJ? I was refreshing CONSTANTLY---and merely saw the date go from 00/2000 to 07/2013.
same here. it went immediately from discontinued to order stop within seconds
-
what is the sales pattern of hobby search and otacute? i know hlj is usually pretty late
-
rakuten sold out. wife is fluent in japanese and has an account. she tried to order and its sold out. its gone there too
-
for those lucky enough to have all the renewals, is the Alto VF-171 box closer in size to the VF-25 renewal boxes or the YF-29 box? specifically the depth
-
does any site ever allow more than 1 per customer?
-
did they really go live or april fools? Nvm. I almost cried
-
to anyone who has gotten a preorder within that few second window, does any of the mentioned sites require payment up front? my credit card always initially rejects international transactions and I have to complain on the phone for 10 minutes before it gets resolved.

you are not gonna find it for 180.00. cheapest is maybe 280-300.00.
Which is why I was asking for help from someone who had an extra on order.

Yeah, I've been scouring the underbell of the internet to find one. It's the only Valk from + that I like. Haha.
It's the only valk from + that I like as well.

Thanks Pikashoo for the Valkyrie! Well packed, tracked, and great communication!
Props to Valkyrie Magnus right back at you. Paid quickly and easy communication. Would love to do business again!
-
dude that lasted 2 minutes!
HLJ is on STOCK GO GO GO!!!
-
Thanks but trying to pay as close to retail as possible so like a $180 or so not almost double that
-
Loads of shops have them over here for roughly $310-315!
I can help you pick one up, I assume shipping will be in the region of $29-30, depending on method and packaging.
You might also want to give Evay a try, might find some reasonable offers.
cool. I'll def hit you up if I can't find one close to retail.
