Im planning to order HD Remastered Version. First i wanted to check quality, so i've downloaded rip from some torrent. It looks great but there're no subs as we know ( nuuu ), so i was wondering if i'd be able to apply subs that were posted by Xeros... Info about patching says about exact, ready iso size... I wasn't able to patch rip i've downloaded due to differences in mentioned size ( nuuu T_T )...

Is there a way to rip it properly ( still want to order ) so the patch would work? Help me guys

ya I did that with my R2 DVD. Made one M2TS file for the PS3 and one to watch on the ipod touch.

might check out this iso.

I can shrink the ISO with DVDShrink, correct? I don't have dual layer burner. I know there will probably be loss in quality but I do have the original remastered DVDs so its not that big a deal to me.

yes, DVDShrink works nice. But if you got it on DVD already and you just want to watch it on iPOD/PSP get the *.mkv version that's lurking somewhere on the net it's going sweet to mp4 ( dont know about mov though )

The Animego set is the best IMO. These were remastered and subtitled a while back. It is out of print I believe, so I'm not sure the best place to find them. If you actually prefer dubbed, ADV put out a set that you can still buy at places like Best Buy. IRC my brother picked up the entire ADV set for around $60 or so at Best Buy. I suppose the ADV version has Japanese with English subtitles as well as being English dubbed, but you should check first as I'm not 100% sure. You may only be able to find the ADV version in any case. The draw back to the ADV version is that I believe they re-did the sound effects for things like the guns firing etc, so it's not authentic to the original Japanese release. The nice thing about the ADV release is that Mari IIjima did her own voice for Minmay.

Recently, i am pondering on which yamato figure to buy? Below is the 2 options that i am pondering from:

- 1/48 VF-1J Super Valkyrie (Max Jenius)

or

- 1/60 YF-19 (Normal type, not the 25th Anniversary)

Can anyone give me suggestions as to which figure is a wiser choice to get?

my first one is VF-1S Hikaru from DYRL. i've decided to buy this one cause it's close to my fan heart... Max is a good choice

looks very nice, but those joins on knees and arms kinda ruin the look of it... sure it\'s cool you can pose her ,but what looks good when it comes to Valks dont look so good here.
