Are you kidding me? Assuming you're down in the States, surplus 8x57 ammo is bountifull and cheaper than dirt. I wish it was as easy for me to get it here in Canada. If you want, I'll PM you a billion links to online retailers who sell 8mm.

Nope - it'd be huge, but not that huge. The Neue Ziel is 76 meters tall (and 74 meters wide), so in 1/144 scale, to go with the HGUC Dendrobium, it would stand about half a meter tall - just about 21 inches tall. That would be SO sweet!!!
