I nominate anyone standing/sitting on the shore of Lake Global for Sharon Apple's armistace gig. Surely someone would have been swamped and drowned when the SDF-1 came thundering back down.

Speaking of the Sharon Apple concert, Marj's leaping off the SDF after blowing his wad while molesting Sharon's cpu tower has got to rank pretty high.

Yes, be patient. I thought it was very repetitive, cheesy and had horrible animation. The mech battles are laughable. If you're looking for action, this series does satisfy. Almost every episode went like this: 1. fire bomber practicing or in concert, 2. PD fold in for attack, 3. Basara flies in and sings for them, 4. PD fold out.

That said, after finishing the series, I grew to like and enjoy the characters. Although I will never respect Basara as a top caliber pilot, I was thoroughly entertained by him. I really liked Gamlin with his determination and dedication even though he wasn't too sharp in other ways.

I personally didn't care for this series, but I did find it enjoyable in some ways and it is Macross. So, if you're a Macross fan you should check it out. And if you like Frontier, you'll be able to appreciate the M7 references in it.

I just realized this, but if you look at episode 13, the creature that pops out of the bushes at Alto and Ranka in the forest is a small version of those things sitting in the stands at the concert...

I'm sure she could. I just think that there has to be some significance to her taking pilot classes. Personally, I think it would be awesome to see her kicking @ss as a pilot. She already has the attitude for it.

I can see Michael eating the pineapple salad. Either by the Vajras or the conspirators. Sheryl's been getting pilot training and we were reminded of that recently (don't remember the episode #). I believe there's a reason for it. Therefore, it would stand to reason that a VF would need to be freed up for her ala Gilliam. What else is she going to do if she does in fact give up singing?...
