pretty cool. too bad it is not the 1/40 scale one.

I flatten them and stored them under the bed.

Finanlly have my VT-1 shipped from japan via EMS. 26000 yen total for a brand new one is not bad at all.

the downside of living in new york is the lack of space

Had the display case for almost three months and still only managed to have just a handful ones display since I am still working on setting up my macross hanger

and talking about the hanger, just complete the floor today. When completed it should use 22 mechanical chain bases.

the right wing of the hanger, plan to build a second tier so I try to mimic some sort of elevator platform on the base and plan to add 3 more pads on the second level.

contacted otacute and got a response today. looks like their stock will arrive on 6/28.

found a weathered vf-1s max for a little over 300, not sure if I will pull the trigger.

i bought mine from ebay about 1 year ago.

The vf-1a Cavaliers are all going up in price, there is none left on ebay. I checked yesterday on amazon and the were going for 180 shipped. now it's 275 shipped at the typical jacked up amazon prices.

I wasn't into the color scheme so i didn't buy the cavaliers when bbts has it on clearance. Furtunately my secret overseas source still have a couple in stock and i was able to buy it for around 120 last week.

damn, very tempted to sell my MM 1Js at these insane prices.

did a quick book keeping and ytd i have spend about 4500 on toys already. 2.3k goes to macross and 2.2k goes to chogokin, saint seiya and other hobbies.

won an auction for a brand new vf-x. should cost me about 340 in the end but at least i don't need to look all over for it anymore.

my Takatoku sdf-1 costed me a bit over 500 but it is bone-white, never used, pristine stick sheet and all little planes still on the sprue tree.

non macross wise...sealed liokaiser, costed me almost 2k.

spent the holiday at my father's place and dug up some treasures I stored in the basement. Now it's time to haul them back to New York! !

looks around 12 inches, I was wondering if the heights of the shelves were adjustable, or if they were predetermined

they are not. the bottom shelf is 16inches though.

I posted the link couple pages back. costed me about 1300 to have them shipped. took me about 45 minutes to put one together

finally have the first of the three display cases assembled. the first one will be for my capital ships and chogokin and here is what i haveb dug out the storage so far.

My display cases finally arrived. Unfortunately the delivery company broken one of the large glasses so only two are working right now.

Spent last night assembling the case and it came out pretty awesome.

just won a vf-1J cannon fodder for 245 shipped. finally got one but ouch.

do you guys think 300 shipped is a good price for a brand new VF-X nowadays?

I'm in the same boat. I had also purchased perhaps one of the last VF-17D w/ super packs sets from them on the 13th and it also still shows "Preparation in progress". I had emailed them about it on Monday and they replied that my order would be sent Tuesday and at the latest on Thursday. It still is showing "Preparation in progress" today. So I'm not really sure what is going on.

just emailed and asked them to change the shipping method from EMS to SAL. At this rate EMS is not express anymore (btw, i counted wrong, not 8 days but 9 days late). If they refuse I will just cancel the order all together.

Edit: LOL, just got a message back from NY:

"We actually have a big problem with your order as the constructor seems to have gone bankrupt

It is impossible for us to get in touch with them neither by phone mail or throught their website(as it is closed now)
