FIFTY! Hmm. I have one at home. I should consider parting with it!
-
MASSIVE work. Awesome dude.
-
I look at it this way...
My friend and I collect a lot of stuff. Price tag is of no concern, as we know that once this stuff is gone, IT'S GONE.
I've dropped more cash for a kit. So has my friend. NEITHER of us plan on dropping money on this. It just looks...
...unfinished.
I'm not spending a couple hundie to finish someone else's project.
-
That is great news. Ryuji, you know I'm good for 2-4 of those when you're done, right? LOL
-
Ah, but the side discussions are what make forums fun and interesting.
Will you consider these kits for your stack?
-
I admire both of you two, and appreciate both points of view, But please don't clash over this. It's not my intention. I only wanted to do a friend a favor and mention this kit where people might be interested and not cause problems.
And I did mention this on another board too.

Fulcy explained the rules to me, so I won't fight the system. It's a Macross cousin, but not Macross enough. I can live with that. I like calm forums like everyone. I hope peeps who're interested get to see it here. Or, better yet, on HF.
One thing's for sure, with G-Sys casting these, you know the'll be sweet. I might get two sets!

The paint job might be making it look crude. The paint is really thick and the highlights are a bit overdone for something of this size. The kit looked pretty interesting and with minor touching up and cleaning up it can look awesome. But who's willing to drop $200 to have to finish up someone else's project? For half the price, no problem...

She's wonderful, and she looks so graceful. Wonderful work!
-

RYUJI
I got four beautifully cast Komillia's last week. The man is a master!
-
Nothing short of wonderful!
Now when can I start sending you my money?
-
These are the ones from Hobbyfan? I had one. It was exquisite. I sold it when I realized I would never get to it.
-
I know... that Minmay Guard project you started. That looked great!
-
The kit's been around. I'm sure there are tons of other pics if you use the search function.
-
Brilliant breakdown of parts.
Have you spoken to Hobbyfan yet about kit production?
-
Just to be clear, there will no longer be any kits under the "Samurai Monkey" banner. The legacy has been taken up by a company called "moh-suu-kaa-toh" Hobby Models, which produced the Regult 1/72 kit.
The next release is to be a 1/72 Zentradi soldier 2-figure set. One standing, and one in a pre-seated position to fit inside the 1/72 Regult.
Can you post a link here when it becomes available? I'll need that for sure!
-
Gorgeous!
-
IMO, long legs are always nicer. But I leave it to Ryuji's discretion. I have many of the kits of his work from the past and will be happy with any decision he makes on this.

I haven't built any of the 1/144 resins yet, but I have a BUNCH. I bought two of those sets from HF years ago (I think I have a couple of them singly too, originals).
For the money, $41.40 for FOUR KITS, I'd say they're worthwhile. They're cheap enough that you can invent variations and not worry about screwing up an expensive original.
