*Stops lurking for a moment* Excellent episode, I sure hope that this connects with the other series in some way. Plus, I'd like to see at least ONE VF-19 around, just one. Come on. But other than that, I like the new mecha. Sidenote: For those who watched Speed Grapher, doesn't the... uh, pilot/effeminate afro guy from SMS look (and is even named apparently) like Bob (from Speed Grapher)? I know it's a weird thing to notice, but I figure it's just a certain "stereotype" there that got repeated somewhat. Dunno if this has been mentioned before, but anyhoo.
