  1. The place that I think you should all pre-order from is ibuyxyz.com I have bought lots of stuff from them and they always seem to have to lowest overall cost.

    http://www.ibuyxyz.com/items/toys/action-f...0067-detail.htm

their pre-order is $190 + shipping I've got mine on pre-order howz bout the rest of ya?

They are based out of HK where you'll need to add $30-50 to ship to you....That's comparing apples to oranges....

BTW - You can tell they have alot more product knowledge about Macross.... :p

  2. One thing to keep in mind is that many Japanese fans can buy from a retailer who can buy directly from Yamato. U.S dealers have to buy through a secondary distributor who adds on their markup after receiving their wholesale discount from Yamato. U.S dealers don't truly get the same discount as a dealer in Japan.

Then the U.S dealer adds on air shipping, import taxes, business overhead, etc and their 'profit' to get their asking price. Hence, a much higher price of a Valkyrie stateside. Air shipping is what kills the price for buying a Valkyrie stateside. A dealer can opt to ship via ocean liner but that's a 3-4 week delay and you really need to order a large volume to make it work.

  4. W  W, that's why you're the best at what you do.

Any news on the SV-51a CF?

I won't be able to secure any SV-51a CFs at this time. I missed the window to preorder. I might be able to pick these up when they are out but it is TBD.

The new preorder price on the YF-21 is a gamble I am taking. I'm banking on volume sales so I have made a committment to my supplier with a order quantity that is higher than normal. Preorder away guys! You can't find a price stateside this low!!!!

  6. Thanks for the help guys. I did use USPS Express mail so I have tracking info, and I did mark for the item to be returned if undeliverable. But, I'm just afraid that the guy could get his money back from PayPal by saying that he hasn't received the item, then running down to the customs office and picking up the package. (I'm probably being paranoid with that thought, but I just don't see why he hasn't already picked up the item since it has been in customs since Nov. 7.)

I didn't put the buyer's phone number on the packing slip. I never had his phone number, but his address is on it. Wouldn't customs just send him a notice in the mail that he has an item waiting for him?

Valk009, thanks for the advice about Ryuji, I'll PM him.

If the package was undeliverable, then it takes like 4-6 weeks to have it returned to the sender. From my own experieces, I didn't get a notification that it is being returned. In any case, it's a waiting game to find out what happened. Putting a trace on the package takes about the same time. Just complete the form at your local post office.

  7. Are there any members in Brazil who could help me out with a little information about the customs system in that country?

I sold an item through Ebay to someone in Brazil, and now there has been some difficulty. The item has been sitting in customs since Nov. 7 and the buyer has complained that he hasn't recived it yet. :(

I'm really just looking for information on what to expect from customs in Brazil or if there is anything more I can do to get the item to the buyer.

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

    Bill

What method of shipping did you use? If you used USPS Express Mail - When you shipped the package, did you specify 'return to sender' in the customs form???
