In seriousness to the thread, I too like the idea of the Corsair. I was gonna suggest it myself, but was beaten to the punch. Ah, they'll just call it the Valkyrie anyway...

If it's a real aircraft name, then I think Crusader would be cool. Crusader II.

My vote is for VF-25 Norris.

It'll probably be a refrence to SDF Macross whatever it is, seeing as how the -25 is obviously a reference to the 25th aniversary and whatnot. So Valkyrie II is a good bet, even despite the MII stuff.

So far Valks have no naming convention to speak of, so it could be anything.

How about Pepsi presents VF-25 Diet Pepsi? That has a ring to it.
