Thanks for posting Fulcy.
With regard to the question from "Ignacio Ocamica", Fulcy has no plans to retire from Macross, or stop participating. He and I are/were partners in the Armored Gerwalk (AG) project, which he doesn't like to completely give up on, but at the same time he doesn't want to indefinitely hold on to someone's property.
That's why he's giving the unknown person a chance to come forward and correctly claim what was donated so long ago.
Perhaps there is a talented individual who would like to create a custom AG conversion kit in either 1/48 or 1/60 scale, which can then be duplicated for other customers to buy. If so, they're welcome to contact me.
Sincerely,
Christopher
Agreed - I am not giving up the Macross scene, and if someone wants to pick up on the AG where I left off, they are welcome to it - they are even welcome to the parts that I've already made, to give them a head start...

So, yeah, it's been a while, and I haven't done any work on this guy. I still want to, I just have no time to. But, regardless, this isn't about what progress I have made/haven't made. This thread is being made because I am searching for someone. I am searching for the MW User who sent me an item to be used in the creation of the Armored Gerwalk armor. I don't have any record of who it was, and it's been so long that ChrisB doesn't remember either - and to be honest, it's not fair that I've had this person's property for so long, and they've got nothing to show for it. So, here's the deal - if you sent me an item to assist with the Armored Gerwalk project (I am purposely being vague, so that no one gets any bright ideas about trying to steal this guy's property), send me a PM, describing the item you sent me. Hopefully you are still an active member here, and I can get in touch with you to return your stuff. Thanks.

Since several of you have played IL2, I have a question - what kind of joystick/throttle would you recommend? Also, are foot pedals necessary?
-
Afraid I'd have to include you in that category.
As would I have to include you

People are complaining because this is MacrossWorld - if it's one thing people do here, it's complain about everything. Thanks Chris for everything you've done with trying to get the users here awesome decals!

I think we've talked about this before, but which PG's you interested in? I've got a Zeta, and two HY2M goufs (1/60 scale) - all built - that I'm looking to get rid of...

b*tch b*tch b*tch - if you don't like the price, don't buy them - more for me!
-
Much more extensive, and much more expensive - I would say double the price of the 1D conversion, which I believe was $80. So $160 for the conversion, plus another $120 for the donor valk - almost $300, and you'll more than likely need to paint it, or have someone paint it for you...

LOL! Nick and I were talking about this about a month ago - actually, it was more me talking about it, and Nick giving me this look of 'What the heck are you talking about!' I use to watch this show all the time - well, for all 11 or 12 episodes that they aired...

Bet you'll never guess what the "K" stands for in the tanker designations. I laughed when I found out because it's so obvious (once you know what its named for). No Googling! - MT
I always thought the K was for the k in tanKer... Since they couldn't use T, since that was in use for Trainer...

I've been using 2.0.0.3 since it was released, and haven't had any problems.
Both system I use it on are XP Professional - I don't know if I have 2.0.0.3 on my 2k system upstairs, but regardless I've yet to experience the problems you are having...

Also, if you are using FireFox, there should be a little RSS icon to the right of the URL in the URL box...

The Black Fewture Getter - if you're able to find it - is DEFINITELY worth getting. Check out the review here:

I have one (got it when it first went on sale, so didn't pay an extreme price for it), and couldn't be happier with it...

Just got the Aoshima Black Getter today. I wish
I'd started getting Aoshima figures sooner.
This thing is pretty cool. I was worried about
size and the weight of the figure. its solid and
in line with the SOC figures.
Now I have to get the others in this series too bad
some of them are hard to find now.
The Aoshima figures are excellent - I have alot of them, and the only one I got rid of was Mazinkaiser, because I wanted to get the Max Factory Mazinkaiser. They are heavy, feel solid - the only drawback really is the limited articulation/poseability...

Yes, laser printers will produce non-opaque decals - Alps printers get around this by printing a layer of white, then the color on top of the white. Also, laser printers will not be able to print white decals.

It's the project that never ends

Fulcy, what kind of $ figure are we looking at these days? The last time I looked into this about 4 years ago I was quoted about $2000 just to get parts that would equal a 1/72 Battroid.
You mean for having SLA parts made? Let me get the images together...
Those parts are from the AG project (yes, it's still going - just very slowly) - the second pic shows the pieces mounted on a 1/48 Valkyrie leg. I had 6 parts total made - one of each of the inner pieces, as shown in the first pic, and two of each of the outer pieces shown in the first pic - and I believe I paid around $450 for all those parts - and I believe it was through that DPT link I posted before, with minimal finishing done to the parts...

Yeah - the Roland Modela is on my short wish list - once I get things settled with the house and the car, then wamo! She will be mine!
